This Azealia Banks would have been a multiple Grammy winner, multiple business deals, multiple number ones... arenas would be sold out . Probably the biggest female musician right now. I don’t want to say it’s so sad cuz I feel like a lot of the times she was simply misunderstood but it sucks that she didn’t get what she deserved in regards to get talents and capabilities. I just feel like it’s an opportunity of a lifetime thrown down the drain. And the sad thing is idek if she could ever make a comeback... like how do you comeback?

Wow this really urks me. okay first of all first of all people give black girls so much shit for weave about how its not natural and how they are trying to imitate white girls, but white girls are getting butt implants and lip augmentations and no one says shit about that. Secondly, Saying that she is into older white guys does not take anything away from what she said in her hot97 interview. She talks about how, in society, black culture has been stripped away and reduced to hip hop. Yet it is still looked down upon and on top of that stolen from us by people like iggy azealia because she has absolutely no talent but yet is paraded around and praised by the media and her being white is not a coincidence. She talks about exactly what you just did, someone attempting to take away from her authenticity as someone who cares about black culture by bringing up something as unimportant as her her personal sexual preference. The media and society silences black people who have important things about racism, take lauryn hill for example. All civil rights activist ask for is equality between all races, yet we have people like you saying how its bad for a black girl to be attracted to white men just as white girls are ridiculed and labeled with "jungle fever" for having personal liking for black guys. The fact that black women and white men can even have sex in america without it being slave rape is an amazing and monumental concept that is relatively NEW. And she never mentions how black people were better than white people in the interview, however she makes very true points about how the media and white America as a whole very deliberately strips culture from black people in america in subtle ways. (when was the last time you studied African history in a highshool world history class. a lot of african american history is cut out of classes too - and its not accidental.
