Hi Steve I'm working on a 2011 Chevy Traverse 3.6 and I'm getting the same p0302 and I change the ignition coil and the spark plug I had to remove the intake plenum I cleared the code in after about 2 miles of driving it gave me the same error code what is your suggestion
Thanks for the information. I got this code using T-Mobile's newest device that tracks my car. Will likely tell Firestone this so I don't have to wait for their technician on Monday to return.
I have a 2011 Honda Odyssy 3.5 been getting the code 302 changed the spark plugs and it soiled the plug again in 2 weeks so I changed the plug and coil and 2 weeks later got the 302 code again not sure what else It could be
I have a 2018 Dodge grand caravan and it has a number 2. Missed fire in it. I'm certain that other people have had this problem too. Replace the coil the spark plug. And now It came back on. What's next step replace fuel injectors?
@thefastestcat hopefully it is not the cylinder valve. That was the problem with mine and it was a $3500 dollar cost. Some even run as much as $5000 dollars to fix.
I had a misfire on cylinder 3 I replaced all spark plugs still had a misfire so I replaced all ignition coils STILL had a misfire I was told my fuel injectors so I replaced all 4 of those and I still have a misfire but now the misfire is saying cylinder 2 (P-302) any suggestions?
@@holdurhorse9149 so they tried replacing my already replaced spark plugs, ignition coils, and fuel injectors and the problem was still there so they checked my throttle body and that was the issue no more misfire after they cleaned it out they didn’t replace it they just cleaned it they said the carbon build up from the misfire caused the throttle body to be stuck open

I really hope whoever was trying to pry that gap open like that does not currently work as an auto mechanic.
Yeah that didn't work 😕 could it be fuel injectors or do you think it needs a valve adjustment. It's 100% not the starter.
@@miguelayala3374 did you replace the plug and coil?
@@Brykk My thought exactly!

CHANGED spark plug and ignition coil. WORKS GOOD NOW. THANK U..
Glad it helped
Thank you for sharing your experience. God bless.
Thanks for watching!
Just went to autozone and this code came back on my 2015 Audi A3. I’m going to replace coil and give and update once complete.
Zus Smart Mini saved me from a bill I couldn't afford. Thanks Nonda!
You are most welcome!

That’s not a bad shout if you try everything it could be worse case it’s low compression and that’s pretty easy to check but not to fix
I did both. Changed spark plug and ignition coil and still getting the same code
I allready did change spark plug and coil still burn my spark plug can be the valve
I have changed both of those and still receiving same code, next step is checking for a stuck open valve on cylinder, either bad or carbon buildup
Hi Presa, please also refer to your vehicle's service manual as repair method could be different per vehicle's make/model.
Or wire to your spark plug or ignition coil
Might need a new coil pack ?
I have the same problem. I changed both the coil and the plug. Still won't start. Any ideas?

I did all of it spark plugs and the coil and it still came back on
Hi Jason, please provide us with your vehicle's year, make/model.
I had the same issue I have a 2017 Kia forte replace all of the spark and the coils
Mine says it has an error P0302, but that the most likely solution is replacing a fuel injector
It may differ from some cars

Hi Keith, we highly suggest to get your vehicle visually checked by your local mechanic for further diagnosis.
Have you figured out the problem yet? What was the issue since I am experiencing the same? Thanks

Would a dirty air filter or dirty oil (need oil change) cause this maybe?
Hello, definitely- yes.
I replaced the coil, got new coil, new plugs and still got the P0302. Any suggestions? Can it be injector?
Replace the Fuel Filter & add some Fuel Injector Cleaner to the fuel tank!
Hi, I just replace all 4 plugs and coils and still getting this code?
Please help. Thanks
Please try to run a scan with your OBD II device. And if the check engine light is off, you may just clear the code.
Why the Jeep renegade 2016 replace spark plug and coil check engine light came back on
Hi Jason, kindly check your fuel injector and if vacuum leak is causing this. Also, check the condition of the spark plug wires.
