I just got 3 new hand size bAby gater snapper in there own 50 gallon tank and I have a 80 pond one in a giant backyard turtle pond and they all eat like a pig there healthy they love it
to prevent sand getting into the intake pipe, place pea gravel in that 1/4 of the floor and place the sand in the other 3/4 of the tank. Silicon a 1/2 high piece of plastic from front to back along the bottom to separate the gravel and sand. Also if you plant any plants place them in small clay pots. place a piece of newspaper folded over twice on the bottom to cover up the drainage hole, then fill 2/3 with dirt, then cover with either sand or pea gravel, then plant your stem or drown plants. You can also plant bulbs or tubers in the pots but put them in the soil then add the gravel to cover them.
I love your videos! Been watching you grow up the last 5 years! I’m proud of you! My favorite dessert is Boston Cream Pie! Two layer yellow cake with vanilla custard pudding in between and covered with thick dark chocolate icing! So yum!!
Been here since the beginning, still pumping out great content! Favorite desert, hmm, that's hard... Probably pumpkin pie. Lol keep being awesome dude✌️
Lowering the glass at one end is a great idea for getting your filter at the right height I’m gonna do that so as I get off work today thanks for your vids
Like 143! How are you? Such a cool turtle! Love the setup too! Hope all is well with you! Take care and God bless you and the turtles! Animal Papa and Junior! 🐾🐢🙏
This is a very cool enclosure! I think you did a fantastic job! Especially the drift wood. It is probably my favorite part. I have quite a lot of experience with Marineland filters. I have had a couple for a couple of years. The biowheel tends to just stop spinning after a while. Also the filters tend to start to make a ton of noice. It is not the water sound, but just them running becomes very loud. I will definitely not be buying anymore Marineland filters, but that is just my experience with them. Anyway, I enjoyed the video! Also, I rarely eat sweets, but on holidays I eat pie.
Really nice set up!! He has really grown since he arrived! Congratulations! Dessert? I live in Mexico, and my favorite dessert is Traditional Flan. It is an egg custard with a caramel top. If done right, it takes hours to cook and is delicious. Many folks take short cuts, and it is never as good!
My favorite dessert is mint chocolate chip blue bells ice cream it's so good. And your snapping turtle is growing really good i bet he'll be so happy in that setup.
If you can get a hold of some Watersprite/Indian Fern, floating plants, get some for this tank. They absorb nitrates like mad. As good as Pothos, plus they grow their own daughter plants which you can remove and feed to your turtles and tortoises as supplemental food. Also add some pond snails as clean up crew, and maybe some ghost shrimps, and they will double as extra food sources.
Should add a purchase list with links to your build. Link for tank, your filter, etc. Would help people trying to setup their own tanks. Thanks for the vid.
No Bake Cheesecake, graham cracker crust, topped off with cherry pie filling.... Question, if I may... Where would I be able to order that tank, or something ultra similar? All my searches have come up empty, in terms of finding a tank like Corvid's... SO jealous 😎.... Our snapper, we've had for a year in October..He's is a little smaller than Corvid, and super ready for more space. He's in a 20gallon currently. Appreciate any help and seriously, awesome job on the setup. Looks damn good.
Do cookies count as dessert? Don't really know, but anyways thanks for the video, I have never seen a snapping turtle this small. He still looks menacing for his age, I guess snapping turtles are always like this.
Hi! I have a malayan box turtle im currently working on a cat-proof tank. He currently lives in a big kitty pool in my room. How deep water can they have? I’ve read everything from 2ins to it not mattering. Thank you!
Need help! Have a baby snapping turtle. It's a rescue. Ive had it for a few weeks now. It's the size of a half dollar coin. So it's small. It stopped eating yesterday. It ate a small piece of worm in the morning and thats it. I've tried different food and tried soaking pallets in tuna juice and etc. Hes not interested at all and just hides in the sand. Sometimes it looks like he's trying to get out. Digging in one corner of the aquarium. How can I help him?
