    The piece of brass looks like a sheet music stand holder that would’ve been attached to a piano or similar instrument.

      It could also be a stand to a old Victorian picture frame

    Wow cool stuff at the bottom of the River. No one looks down there. Does it ever scare you down there? You should make "Ocean in a Bottle" out of the bottles you find and sell them ! Sharks tooth Necklace I'd buy one......NY

    Awesome finds, guys. I would think a lot of this stuff like the beads and shark tooths would be well and buried. But they seem to stick to the surface. It really is a shame that mallet bottle wasn't intact.

    nugget looks like you found two collectables Your first two marbles First is what appears to be a corkscrew the second is a flame both are worth 5-6 dollars if not chipped , You buddies found a China line another 5 dollar find.

    Man, that area is so interesting! Arrow heads, Indian pottery, medicine bottles, marbles, clay pipes... What else is down there!? Bet there's coins too! I'm actually a little surprised you didn't bring the big metal ornate thing at 1:10 up... What kind of metal was it? What was it? It was huge, and looked very old... Awesome place... Wow 👍🙏

      I'm sure there is coins too if you detected through all the trash. The huge metal ornate thing was made out of iron, i'm not sure what is was but definitely old

      @@nuggetnoggin somebody would probably buy that for a pretty penny, looked like the round part was maybe the base... People love old cast iron! I'd just like to see it repurposed or even what it is, looked like it might have had a leg busted off too... Hard to tell under water.. whatever man, keep on diggin!

    8:25 Makes me wonder if the inspiration for the arrow heads didn't come from those shark teeth? The Native Americans had to have found plenty of those teeth laying around. 11:10 Those pipe bowls are noticeably larger than the ones found along the Thames River in England. Tobacco was definitely cheaper here.

    The flat brass decorative item is from a music stand I think. Someone was wooing with their violin or something on a boat ride

    Bird points aren't actually bird points.
    They were actually knives, what they would do,
    is, keep chipping away at them, to keep them sharp.
    But they'd get to a point, that they would become too small, to use as a knife, so they would actually just discard them..
    Through the years, people would find them, and they assumed they were for birds, but they weren't.
    Just a little history, hope it helps.

    How can shark teeth be in a freshwater river? Unless of course, that river's delta is really close by?

      you would be surprised all the shark teeth you can find in freshwater rivers, even 100 miles from the ocean. These are fossils and not recent shark teeth

    That hand blown bottle even broke is worth a hundred or two. The complete is 1000 to 2000. They are very valuable broke pieces even.
