I moved to an old farm when I was 33. Every time I would find something.....a horse shoe, a square nail, a chain, I considered all of it a "gift from the farm".....I guess all that stuff you find is a gift from the river : )
Nutting stone. One side is for walnuts, the other side is for smaller nuts, such as pecans, hickory nuts and acorns. Have a wonderful day, Nugget, and God bless.💙🙏
Nice video. Glad you got to have a great day out under the water, and hanging out with Jeremy and Adam... If you ever make it up to Michigan, look me up. I'll be happy to put you up for the night and safe store anything you bring. Plenty of Rivers, Relics, Shipwrecks, and Antiques to be seen / found up here.... From Lansing, Michigan. Wishing you and your loved ones a great week.
Hi noggin! Dimple rock does look like a mortar and THE Bull shark tooth would make a nice pendent. ALL ur adventures R awesome! Thnx 4 collecting debris from the waterways and earth. God our Father continue to Bless and watch over you and ur friends.🐽
I am from Oklahoma here and today was instant sweat...so jealous of you in that river... Them finds of fossils and your meg tooth...are awesomeness...you had better go get that petrified log....God bless and stay safe.
Always enjoy your videos. Would like to see more closer together. My husband and I took scuba lessons, he passed and I didn't, that's when I found out I was claustrophobic, with the wet suit, tanks and all that weight. Love to snorkel though.
Greetings from Nova Scotia! Another great video. Especially like the ridged bottle and the native pottery pieces. Have a great weekend and keep safe. 😊🇨🇦
Awesome dive, Mike! If I had to guess about that round rock with the hole, I'd say it was a bagel. A petrified bagel! A native Indian girl was carrying bagels in her bowl and dropped them. Bowl broke... that's where that pottery piece came from, and the one remaining bagel. That's my far from an expert opinion! 😂😂 great finds, bud!
😊great dives.... How do you prevent the shark teeth from cracking when they dry out? Second, that rock with the two indentations is a real mystery. I watched a man on RUclips that had collected many specimens like yours. One rock had like 8 indentations. He said he couldn't figure out what it was used for. He had thought about it for a long time and each idea he had was trashed. It's still a mystery according to him. But they were always found around American Indian activity. And the hole is chipped out , not smooth, like yours is. Even in hard stone the hole shows signs of being chipped out, not smooth - like nuts were broken in them, which would show a smooth surface. I'm thinking they were used to make beads, where the chipping would be where the bone or turquoise or whatever was set down and worked like an arrowhead would be. Sounds good to me.
I'm pretty sure the rock with the hole worn in it was for starting fire. They would hold the rock in the palm of one hand to hold a stick with the string of a bow wrapped aroun to spin . Lots of friction and heat at the other end of the stick will light dry grass pretty quickly
Do you think that rock could have been a fire-drill rock, with the wood fitting into the notch ? Great find, and in amongst the pottery and petrified wood, a neat spot. The glass bottles, that glass is very nice
Hello from Holmdel New Jersey , can I ask how old you are ? Only asking because of the amount of knowledge you give us , at such a young age is refreshing ! Thanks
The stone with the hole looked like one my grandmother had that was used to grind herbs and seeds for medicine. Her mothers had one about that size with a pedestal.

The rock was probably Native American used for grinding grain. I have 2 large stones similar to this. That could have been mortar and pestle.

Maybe that rock was used in making fires. Like when they twist a stick like part with some bark or grass to ignite at the base of it.
That anchor was between a rock and a hard place. lol
