I used to wear scrunchies many moons ago, I loved pulling my hair on top of my head, especially in the summer. I have to make myself one, thanks for the pattern!
I never stopped wearing mine, lol. I've watched another tutorial but I like your way better. Some of my elastic has stretched out so I'm looking forward to making more plus I have 3 great-nieces with a LOT of hair. Thanks, Jennifer!
Tina Hairston I never stopped wearing them either. I wear them to bed or around the house, ive been buying them in the hair department at my grocery store and on amazon. 😆
This is so cute! I've been seeing a few instructors making scrunchie tutorials saying they're coming back in style. I must be the only one that's never stopped wearing them. LOL. I feel embarrassed bc I didn't know they ever went out of style. 😄
I have to wear my hair up at work as I'm continually walking past machinery and such so something like this would be awesome! Could make my own and save a few bucks. Thanks bunches for the scrunches! Lol
My daughter loves them now and even asked for some for Christmas, I didn't even think to make her some. I have made her crotched hair bands though where I crotched on a hair elastic
When I was younger I learned to crochet one around a normal hairband. Does anyone know how that would compare to using elastic, as far as how long it would last? Thanks!
I attempted this making this hair band but it's getting wider as I'm going through the length, can you please tell me the reason & what I should do to correct it?
I’m more comfortable with your tutorial on scrunchies. Thanks & God bless.
This is the best yarn scrunchie ever. Thanks for bringing this back from the dark. I'm going to make lots of them with my yarn scraps.
I've never stopped wearing mine. Definitely need them in the summertime when you have long hair. Thank you for posting this ☺️
I loved this scrunchie. Will definitely try to make it.

This so cute! I don't wear scrunchies anymore. I wore a lot of them back in the day.
I make my scrunches using a hairtie. Just sc all around then dc all around. But definitely gonna try this.🤗

That looks so cool . I wonder if it can be done on a spool knitting tool 💜
can we use a hair tie instead of the elastic?

I am going to try this thanks for sharing!
Me also Jamie, I didn’t know they went out of style. I wear them often! I have quite a selection...lol
I crochet over the elastic scrunchie without the metal part. Very quick and easy. I use scrap yarn.
I do that too. I am going to try this method as something different
