    Ok so while following your steps to reset breaker, which wasn’t it, I took off the front control panel and I check the wires on the front control board and found a connector had snapper off. The group of wires that are connected in line with what looks like a quick connect but it’s not. It’s more like a plug, but the plug its solder into the circuit control board. That whole group snap off at the plugs. I could couldn’t see that they were because the wires are tucked back under the circuit board and it happened to move just enough for me to see a part of the connector and realized something was amiss.

    Hi Michael,
    We have Samsung Ecobubble 7kg. Which isn't turning on. I saw you video and watched option number one two weeks ago. I did the same. The washing machine turned on. We were very happy and thankful to you. But after, I noticed that every time, we had to turn it on, we had to use the option one to turn it on. After few washing, the machine started to behave like stubborn horse. We had to apply option number one again and again. But now it isn't turning on at all. Please guide us to next step. Best Regards

      Thanks for the update. Sorry to hear about your troubles. Have you removed control panel & inspected internal wiring? Verify all wiring is properly secured & no signs of damage.
      If all looks good, your panel may have been in it’s early stages of failure & has now finally called it quits. A new control panel should solve your issue. A few places to find parts @ a friendly price.

    • @DIYwithMichaelBorders
      @DIYwithMichaelBorders  3 года назад +1

      Thanks for watching and let’s get this figured out. If you are hearing a clicking sound, try your best to locate the exact spot the clicking is coming from.
      This will usually be inside the panel or on your door. The door actually has a door lock switch/mechanism that activates when the cycle is started... in other words...locks the door so you cannot open it during the cycle. If this fails, a new door lock switch will hopefully get you back up and running.
      If you hear the door lock switch activating, then this will not be your issue and you need to focus on your control panel. Keep us posted.

    Hi Michael , HELP! I have a Samsung Front Load Washer (Model WF365BTBGSF 4.1 cu ft). I followed the steps in this video and the machine started back up but it only runs for about 5 minutes and shuts down.
    Initially the machine displayed an error code (AE). I followed your reset steps (Step 2 - removing power to the machine via the breaker) and the machine reset. It started back up and ran for the five minutes and shut down. The AE code no longer displays - the machine display simply goes blank and eventually powers down. The AE - fault code indicates a communication issue.of the washers main components. I opened the machine, inspected it (as per video 3) and decided to replace the main control panel (DC92-01527C) - RESULT: NO Change
    Machine still powers down after starting up, provided it is unplugged or the electrical panel breaker has been turned off (removing all power to the machine) for an extended period before turning it back on. You suggest removing all power for 30 seconds in your video, I left it a little longer. My sense is there is a capacitor somewhere that needs to be replaced. I saw two on the main board but my guess is they regulate power to the components on the PCB and there must be another regulating the motor.

    • @DIYwithMichaelBorders
      @DIYwithMichaelBorders  4 года назад +1

      Mark Russell
      Thanks for sharing Mark. Let’s get this figured out. Replacing your capacitors may definitely help. Prior to replacing any parts, inspect all wiring and wire connection points and verify no signs of stress... melted wires, bent wires, burned wires...
      Also verify all connection points are properly secured. Even the slightest loose connection point can lead to an electrical shortage which will definitely cause the communication fault (AE).
      While inspecting connection points, verify there are absolutely no signs of moisture or corrosion building up on points. As the years go on, most washers form rust in certain spots and our goal is to verify no rust has begun to call the connection points home.
      You may also want to check your actual outlet on the wall that the washer plugs into. Although it is uncommon, we just spoke to a fellow RUclips DIY’er & he figured out that the cause of his machine malfunctioning was a loose outlet.... after finding that, he quickly had it serviced because a loose outlet with that amount of amps present can be very dangerous.
      Let’s start there... keep the cash in your pocket for the time being. Let’s check off the free items first prior to moving forward with replacing parts. We will get this figured out together Mark.
      Please subscribe to the channel and ring your RUclips bell 🔔 this will be very helpful to us thanks again.

      @@DIYwithMichaelBorders Thanks very much for the suggestions. I went through the inspection process prior to replacing the main board. The machine is seven years old and looks like new. It is lightly used given we are a two person household. There is no rust or corrosion. I also confirmed the outlets are serviceable. I have scoured other sites looking for information concerning potential capacitor problems but found nothing. Not really sure what to do.

      Thanks for the update Mark. Let’s go back to the AE code you got a few days back. This indicates a leak. By chance have you noticed any leaks under, near, or around your machine?
      Even the ever so tiniest leak can cause an interruption in the water pressure inside the machine that the control board and computer monitors...crazy we know...however we can’t rule it out...🤔
