- @toontrack and @rolandglobal I’m showing Superior Drummer 3 with TD27 mk2 and all the great options and sounds. Basic demo really focusing on realism and subtlety of the drum library
It's amazing how much better the SD sounds are than the Roland sounds! Nice playing as well! Thanks for doing this!
Sd3 really is lightyears ahead of the game at this point. it would be hard to go back to those 1 dimensional stock roland sounds after experiencing Hansa, hitmaker, decades
Great vid!! It’s been hard to find any content on the td-27 and SD3. By the way, how do you find the digital hi-hat responsiveness in SD3?
Very good, the presets in Superior help a lot with playability
These sound great. DO you find the latency is acceptable when you play SD in real time?
Yeah, totally. I can get the buffer setting real low if I need to, but 64 or 128 is fine
How did you get the hihat splash right? I have the foot sensibility all the way up in the td27 and no dice. I can't jazz!
Do you have the USB hihat? I just use the preset in Superior Drummer

Hey Great Video.. I have a TD11 and it doesn't catch all the ghost notes on the snare and hat... does your TD27 capture them well?
It does, very well. The TD27 has the USB snare and hihat (and ride) and SO different than the analog pads, much more responsive

would you please make a video of you setting up ur kit with SD3, I'm having such a hard time trying to get mine to function correctly, seems like sd3 is receiving my midi signals but the sounds from SD don't translate to the physical drum being stuck I'm very frustrated
