Now that’s relaxing that’s why I used to love to sail no noise except the water on the hull.

Yes this is the way to do the rivers slow and easy. If I am able to do this I'll have a trolling motor to keep me straight and only use the big motor for the locks. Maybe fish while I float Take care and stay safe Brenton.

I don't believe I had seen those Hubbard photos. My book had line illustrations by Harlan. Thank you.

Brenton, I think you are a little eccentric with a lot of smartness built-in. I am a bit of a eccentric myself. My kids tell me I’m like the guy in the movie the Big fish. we’re both enjoying the calmness of the river but I could only take it five minutes. The rest of the time I’d be up on a plane at 22 mph worrying about running out of fuel but would probably do it anyway until I ran out and kick myself in the butt. You definitely have the potential to finish this great loop. We’re all behind you and cheering you on My friend.❤

I think we're gonna finish the loop...and then some ;) few start way up on the Mississippi, and go across the great lakes, including Superior. If I can pull up to my doorsteps in Ontonagon, will feel very accomplished. Thanks for the encouragement

    "Cause it's a place you've never been
Maybe a place you've never seen now
You can hear them callin' on the wind
Driftin' and dreamin', driftin' and dreamin'.
Really goin' on a dream now, really goin' on a dream now,
Really goin' on a dream now."

Have you considered ping The Ohio River.
Spent a lot of boating years from Pittsburgh to Cairo.
    The Hubbard's home land!
If you go don't miss Marietta Ohio.
    Enjoy your RUclips episodes.

While drifting use a trolling motor to steer ...let the sun do the heavy lifting for ya.

For the "not so ready for prime time" footage that doesn't fit on the main channel. More/less anything goes over here. A pressure relief valve ;)
