Thank you for the video. I have been having issue with iphone 6 water damage phones. After water treatment service, many iphone 6 can't power on or can't charge either. It happens frequent. Is there a particular IC that is burnt and cause such issue or the board is bad? thanks

Don't waste money on buying a new charging port or battery if your phone won't turn on I replaced both to no avail it will 100% be charging ic that's the fault caused by overcharging say overnight using aftermarket charging cables I had mine repaired at a cost of £35 hope this helps ;)

Also if your phone shows no signs of life lcd no display etc but still recognised by iTunes the other repair needed will be display ic repair this would be £35 also ;)

On the power supply, the number on the left is current (miliamps) and on the right voltage.
If there was no current or if current was off that value it would have meant something was wrong. Higher would have meant short circuit somewhere/bad component, lower would have meant maybe that too but also a variety of other things.

Maybe you can help me. I received a dead 6s, no water damage. I installed a new battery and it powered on but battery drained about 1-2% per minute and would not charge.
I replaced tristar and phone charges now and battery drains normally, but it only charges on a wall plug. When I plug to a computer iTunes does not recognize the phone and it won't charge. Plug back to the wall plug and it charges fine. I also tried a new charge port but same.
Any idea what might be the cause?

Hi, my iphone 6s battery is not charging. Charging symbol appears but not charging beyond 4%. I have tried changing to a fully charged battery. But still shows 4%. And it keeps restarting after few mins. Tried hard reset and dfu mode. Is that charging ic problem?
