kya yr dimak to lagao mere bhai, chutiya bana rahahe tum ko,ek paile se he reboll kiya he,ye to asan se nikalta he,
The chip alignment at 6:12 was priceless :)
if i'm not mistaken you had a pre heat underneath the board so thats why you easily remove the chip
You could've blown away small stuff around the IC, use kapton tape to shield it from the heat and suction picker for the IC, much safer this way
Could you reschedule me how to do this
@bernardrobsons7402 how's next week sound?
Sounds awesome
if u ever use heatgun properly u would know that its impossible when u use such nozzle diameter
newbies like to use thin diameter and thats why they blowing away smds.
Hms practical badiya channel mobile repairing ke liye
Don't try this on your expensive boards guys. You can limit heating your IC more than what shown in the video by proper method.
350- 360 c is good for cpu and emmc.
Heat 340 air 40 time 1min 861dw
Of course not everyone has soldering iron with adjustable thermostat or heat gun
380 air 40 is good for me
Ok
Good equipments & professional work
Thank you very much!
@@MmanzilsTechbro one dout pls tell…my motherboard is broken as 3 peace and droped under lake as 8 months now any chance to take datas?
I love the fan cooling at the end! Great solution!
Thanks! 👍
Thank you for making this outstanding contribution to those who can see this video。expect great movres not but just only in Mediatek chip ! Thanksgiving ❤
I leave Mediatek
Thanks for sharing the details
You can't make your own solder balls reliably. Almost a guarantee that one of those chips is shorting.
They sell solder balls in very specific sizes for a reason, so you don't put too much solder on any one pad. Those screens, aren't for pushing solder paste through, they are for lining up actual balls of solder. Too much solder on 1 pad will bridge several.
I agree with this, but again the guy got it working. He probably knows better than you...
I know those stencils are only for solder balls, but if it works for him, it probably works for anyone else. He showed the chips with the "balls" on each pad, and they all seem to be fine, so no biggy,
A stencil with solder paste is a viable way to re-ball a bga chips. Area of rectangular holes x thickness off the stencil = fixed volume --> same amount of solder on each pad. The execution in the video wasn't the best but that doesn't mean its not a perfectly good method.
@@Appri he didn't show completed repair, it's very unlikely the repair works.
@@fabian11235 it is not consistent at all, solder paste has inconsistently sized pieces in it And could have more or less solder in every tiny drop. And too much on 1 single pad will, not can, will bridge several pads.
@@Druid_Plow people reball all the time, with this way as well. So just calm down and enjoy a man do his work.
This video was shared in great detail, thank you for sharing, I love it.
DON'T copy what this guy is doing, bad heating job
@@Darktophat_10 thx mate
@@KokoSword You're welcome.
Wow men, really is very strongly work that!!! The mission is accomplished??
👏👏
Your supposed to use a special machine to remove and attach heat sensitive chips. Notice he didn't show you if it posted, or could see the onboarding emmc.
1. How you get this modern tin based solder to melt at 350c? I've never been able to even get the stuff to melt at any temperature below 370c. Unless maybe my thermal sensor was out of whack or something.. 🤷♂️
2. Why didn't you use tweezers to lift the chips? Like, are you TRYING to knock other components loose? I spent around 5 years doing this sort of work, and I surely wouldn't have went about any of it that carelessly.
Well his work suck i dont think its working prob 50/50 chance of it working now also what u mean modern tin based solder you might mean the grey paste stuff that thing melts at such low temps i fixed some chargers i had lying around for fun after buying such paste and it did melted at 250 with heat gun so less temp might be suficient too thing is its made of most paste and dust of solder thats why it melts in seconds in low temp whilst solid core rosin solder need higher temps cause is solid piece of tin rather than dust in flux if you take for ex the solder the plumbers or guys that install metal tubes etc its like normal solder but bigger in diameter this thing need blowtorch to melt a solder iron takes time to melt a blob out of it
@@HeLrAiSiNg1 Dude, whether the solder was in paste form or not prior to chip installation, the metal melts together into the same solid metal when it's all said and done. And by federal law, since about 2007 or 2008, any solder used in mass manufacturing HAS to be tin based, lead based solder processing is too toxic for the factory workers and the environment.
When he started, the chip was mounted on the board with fully solidified original factory solder. I couldn't care less if the factory used a solder paste or not, after the solder was heated and the chip was installed and cleaned, that solder was fully solidified metal.
moreover he should use Blade to resize solder balls means to cut over solder balls ,making all balls shape and size PERFECT.
Well done. When I reball, some balls solder to the stencil. How do you do a perfect reballing? I tried everything but nothing changed. Maybe the stencil is not good or I should use 138c solder paste. I need your advice.
Saya dari Indonesia.sangat rekomendasi sekali videonya

Nice job sir Google❤
I'm glad I'm before this technology.
Excelente aporte colega,saludos desde Paraguay
How do the chips stick again to the board without solder ?
Is using flux only work as a solder ?
برك الله فيك
You forgot the transistor :)
Hello.
I have a question, what you apply before you remove the shield??
Flux paste
It's so good I think it's so good it's perfect😊
Awesome video❤ next plz....
Wow, thank you so much.

Wow. what a skill .!!!👋👋👋
how much for ic repair usually?

Are you using low melt solder 138c? The balls are formed very fast at 280c.
Waaah you can become heart surgeon, it has way less number of connections and piping!

You can change emmc or ufs to nvme ??? I subscribe you. after change emmc or ufs to nvme can right
Speaking as someone who has repaired electronics for 40 years and is an electrical engineer I can’t help but think ; all this work and it’s only going to fail again from heat / cool cycles detaching the balls / chips esp without mechanical downforce. BGA is the worst thing ever for reliability - millions of devices dead before their time inflicting pain on consumers and their wallets !
you are so skillful
Very nice
Bahut sahi tarika
workmanship sucks. approach the motherboard very carelessly. You painted the entire motherboard with flux. You don't need that much flux for an integrated output. In fact, flux is a required liquid when soldering. it can also exit easily without an integrated flux.
Good job 👌

I want that my RAM be replaced with 8GB. Is it possible?
да, но вам нужно найти совместимую
No
In MacBook Air 2012-2013 was possible to replace soldered ram to 16Gb modules.

Depends on mobile model
Is that paste lead-free
?? Cause if not lead-free.. The IC ball cannot handle the hot temp of the phone operation...
What? You mean the opposite. If leaded, it can handle it.
@@Appri no.. You said wrong.. Lead free is stronger
If you are also a technician when Nokia Era... You know that BB5 type using lead free.. Like Nokia N70, 6600,7610, they are use lead free.. Many failure to detach them if you blow it with hot air too hot... Its hard attach because of lead free
@@wielijustice "If not lead free, the ic ball cannot handle the hot temp." My god, reread what you said. Lead free is unleaded solder which takes higher temps. You said IF NOT LEAD FREE.
@@Appri omg.. Yeah.. Sorry.. My bad.. Yes i mean lead free... Lead free should be used.. Cause android have high temp

Ok so anyone else wonder how he gets the chip's pins to line up perfectly when resoldering? 🤯
Usually chips move around by themselves when the hot solder touches the pads. They sort of stick into position.
on the right side from above, you unsoldered a couple of elements 0:51
