  • Millimeter waves, massive MIMO, full duplex, beamforming, and small cells are just a few of the technologies that could enable ultrafast 5G networks. Read more: spectrum.ieee.org/video/teleco...
    Today’s mobile users want faster data speeds and more reliable service. The next generation of wireless networks-5G-promises to deliver that, and much more. With 5G, users should be able to download a high-definition film in under a second (a task that could take 10 minutes on 4G LTE). And wireless engineers say these networks will boost the development of other new technologies, too, such as autonomous vehicles, virtual reality, and the Internet of Things.
    If all goes well, telecommunications companies hope to debut the first commercial 5G networks in the early 2020s. Right now, though, 5G is still in the planning stages, and companies and industry groups are working together to figure out exactly what it will be. But they all agree on one matter: As the number of mobile users and their demand for data rises, 5G must handle far more traffic at much higher speeds than the base stations that make up today’s cellular networks.

      That would make 5G between 1 and 10mm wavelength, I take it you are just using the eV @ wavelength for that calculation?.
      , so by your theory you could stick your head in a microwave oven since that has even less eV? ) lol.
      No in order to determine safety you need to look at the output power from the transmitter, in the case of 5G since it is higher frequency, it is also more directional/focused, therefore you need many closer proximity transmitters, that's why there is so many people having doubts on 5G's safety.

    • @suzesiviter6083
      @suzesiviter6083 5 лет назад +7

      @Hernando Malinche I am well aware of what Hz means, you miss my point, your comparison using eV is just plain wrong. Hence the microwave example. Neither did I say it gives you cancer(though Synchrotron radiation has been proved to cause cancer), it will make your head hot!
      Microwaves work at 2.4GHz, that has a lower eV than 'colour', yet is able to vibrate the molocules due to the 100 or so watts of radio power. So your theory on 5g safety is just wrong as you did not take transmitter power into account.
      Did you know people have been killed standing too close to high power VHF radio transmitters?
      As we increase frequency, we are more able to hit the resonant frequency of smaller structures so a 1mm wavelength will vibrate anything in your body with dimensions approximating 1mm.
      No scientist will disagree with what I have said, the only question is how much damage vs. power it will do to your body over a prolonged time period.

      Turito Bassu maybe the massive ball of radiation that is strong enough to burn skin, if you actually believe these "scientifically proven" theories about how radio frequency waves cause cancer you need to do some research. The sun produces much more radiation in a minute than your phone would in its whole lifespan

    • @massiah1314
      @massiah1314 7 лет назад +6

      KayaR it's the frequencies at which they are at that is dangerous. And while you may think the sun is giving off more radiation that's where mainstream science would have one believe that. But I have done my research as well and it has turned up things that I'm not quite sure you're aware of because if you were you would have a different out look this topic. There is definitely dangerous amounts of radiation being emitted daily and the chem trails are also causing damage so we're being hit from all sides here. When people get cancer they'll think it was natural and was going to happen. And again that's what they want you to believe so that no one ever questions why has the cancer found in patients risen instead of fallen? They have a multi billion dollar industry the pharmaceutical mobsters they don't want to cure all the cancer or admit there's been a cure found. Because they want to depopulate the earth. If you don't believe me then do research. Like why do all the leaders meet at secret meetings? Or why were the stone tablets, known as the Georgia guidestones, erected? Did you know it's first rule or law is to maintain humanity under 500,000,000 people? That's killing off nearly the entire human population. Now before you comment things like "radio frequency doesn't cause cancer" actually look at what the findings are and you'll see that they CAN cause cancer amongst other biological health issues.

    • @massiah1314
      @massiah1314 7 лет назад +2

      Turito Bassu well you'd be wrong to think that but I'm sure I won't change your mind. Do some research on them. Maybe you'll find the rich fucks who put them up for laughs and ask them why? There's so much that goes on that the public is made aware of, and if it wasn't a stunt for laughs then what was it for?

    • @kevin42
      @kevin42 6 лет назад

      NOTE: read the entire comment before replying, thanks
      There is a reason its called ”none ionizing radiation”. Using ur method of thinking, i would get cancer from simply cooking food as i expose myself to massive amounts of heat radiation from the stove. Or if im sitting beside a fire.
      As for the energy absorbed from none ionizing radiation, yes it can be dangerouse. But it all depends on strength and wave length. I could blast u with 50 Ghz wifi for 1h at -38 D/m2 of power and u would be fine, or i could blast u with 1h of micro(ironically micro waves arent that ”micro” in length but whatever that isnt the point) wave radiation(also none ionizing) and it would melt ur face off.Yet the wifi 50 Ghz was wayy wayyy higher energy in terms of wave length.
      The wave energy wifi, 5G, radio.. etc give off are neglegable in power, truly miniscule. An army of engneers have tried to come up with ways to get ”free energy” by turning radio wave energy in the air(from wifi, radio.. etc) to electrical energy for years. Yet failed miserably as the output was in the micro to mili volt range, AKA minimal amounts of actual power going though the air.
      So no, these radiation ammiters wont kill/give us cancer. Stop the nonesense

      Yes and no. The frequency is less than that of visible light, the light that surrounds us and so it's less energetic.
      The problem comes from intensity. Let's say you have a cell tower that sends out radiation with 500 Hz. The further you are from it the less intense it is, but the frequency is independent of distance.
      5G technology will have very high intensity because it will be on every corner down the street. Adding to that microwaves are absorbed by H2O (aka all living things) and so you have something that could be harmful.

There isn't really anything novel about 5G, except the way the different pieces are being put together. No it's not the same as living in microwave. You are really extremally stupid if you think so.
      I will try to explain it like for kids in kindergarten:
      Imagine you are inside a car. Now you are getting hit by housefiles one by one, lets say the housefly hit your car with speed similar to 0.1km/h, and it happens 1000 times.
      Now imagine that you got hit by car that was moving with speed like 100km/h. Do you see the difference?
      The same applies to wifi and microwave. The router emits the waves with power similar the 0.1W, while the microwave emits the waves with power higher than 1000W.
      If the waves are on the same frequency it doesn't mean they will blow your brain or something similar.

      Seriously? Are you implying that as long as our skin doesn't burn from these frequencies, it must be safe? These are typical beliefs of someone who knows nothing about the actual science behind non-ionizing radiation. Non-ionizing radiation does not have enough energy to directly break DNA bonds, but it can through various mechanisms indirectly cause DNA damage and mutations AND weaken the immune system. This means that diseases like cancer will develop much more easily. Furthermore, 70% of peer-reviewed non-industry funded studies show that there ARE biological health effects from non-ionizing radiation. Read some science before spewing lies.

      Wireless Action Then why hasn't everyone grown a bunch of tumors from their microwave ovens, which produce non ionizing radiation?
      And by the way, I'm not implying that as long as it doesn't burn your skin, it's safe. In fact, microwave radiation CAN burn your skin and still be safe. There has been technology developed that allows microwaves to be fired at a person, and it feels like your skin is burning, but it actually does no damage to you whatsoever because it can't penetrate deeper than the very surface of your skin.
