Today’s mobile users want faster data speeds and more reliable service. The next generation of wireless networks-5G-promises to deliver that, and much more. With 5G, users should be able to download a high-definition film in under a second (a task that could take 10 minutes on 4G LTE). And wireless engineers say these networks will boost the development of other new technologies, too, such as autonomous vehicles, virtual reality, and the Internet of Things.
If all goes well, telecommunications companies hope to debut the first commercial 5G networks in the early 2020s. Right now, though, 5G is still in the planning stages, and companies and industry groups are working together to figure out exactly what it will be. But they all agree on one matter: As the number of mobile users and their demand for data rises, 5G must handle far more traffic at much higher speeds than the base stations that make up today’s cellular networks.

That would make 5G between 1 and 10mm wavelength, I take it you are just using the eV @ wavelength for that calculation?.
, so by your theory you could stick your head in a microwave oven since that has even less eV? ) lol.
No in order to determine safety you need to look at the output power from the transmitter, in the case of 5G since it is higher frequency, it is also more directional/focused, therefore you need many closer proximity transmitters, that's why there is so many people having doubts on 5G's safety.
@@rhythm2mysoul. Do you take your car to be fixed by the dentist?.
Yes quals do not mean intelligence, but they do mean you know more about a subject than someone who hasn't studied in that area.
@Hernando Malinche I am well aware of what Hz means, you miss my point, your comparison using eV is just plain wrong. Hence the microwave example. Neither did I say it gives you cancer(though Synchrotron radiation has been proved to cause cancer), it will make your head hot!
Microwaves work at 2.4GHz, that has a lower eV than 'colour', yet is able to vibrate the molocules due to the 100 or so watts of radio power. So your theory on 5g safety is just wrong as you did not take transmitter power into account.
Did you know people have been killed standing too close to high power VHF radio transmitters?
As we increase frequency, we are more able to hit the resonant frequency of smaller structures so a 1mm wavelength will vibrate anything in your body with dimensions approximating 1mm.
No scientist will disagree with what I have said, the only question is how much damage vs. power it will do to your body over a prolonged time period.

True we've seen lots of that manipulation.
This is sick. And no not in a good way. 5G will be the end of us watch. Cell phone towers placed on top businesses and near homes have already reported earlier in age cancer diagnosis as well as the older folks too. A guy knew there was towers on his building and sure enough the pole right before entering the space with all the wire and antennas will say "danger high radio frequency" and when he opens the door you see a shit ton of wires and transmitters. The owner was diagnosed with cancer and his 25 year old son who he had been helping out for a year also was diagnosed with cancer. These things aren't safe. And 5G will kill us. Smh
Radio waves dont cause cancer
Turito Bassu maybe the massive ball of radiation that is strong enough to burn skin, if you actually believe these "scientifically proven" theories about how radio frequency waves cause cancer you need to do some research. The sun produces much more radiation in a minute than your phone would in its whole lifespan
KayaR it's the frequencies at which they are at that is dangerous. And while you may think the sun is giving off more radiation that's where mainstream science would have one believe that. But I have done my research as well and it has turned up things that I'm not quite sure you're aware of because if you were you would have a different out look this topic. There is definitely dangerous amounts of radiation being emitted daily and the chem trails are also causing damage so we're being hit from all sides here. When people get cancer they'll think it was natural and was going to happen. And again that's what they want you to believe so that no one ever questions why has the cancer found in patients risen instead of fallen? They have a multi billion dollar industry the pharmaceutical mobsters they don't want to cure all the cancer or admit there's been a cure found. Because they want to depopulate the earth. If you don't believe me then do research. Like why do all the leaders meet at secret meetings? Or why were the stone tablets, known as the Georgia guidestones, erected? Did you know it's first rule or law is to maintain humanity under 500,000,000 people? That's killing off nearly the entire human population. Now before you comment things like "radio frequency doesn't cause cancer" actually look at what the findings are and you'll see that they CAN cause cancer amongst other biological health issues.
Turito Bassu well you'd be wrong to think that but I'm sure I won't change your mind. Do some research on them. Maybe you'll find the rich fucks who put them up for laughs and ask them why? There's so much that goes on that the public is made aware of, and if it wasn't a stunt for laughs then what was it for?
NOTE: read the entire comment before replying, thanks
There is a reason its called ”none ionizing radiation”. Using ur method of thinking, i would get cancer from simply cooking food as i expose myself to massive amounts of heat radiation from the stove. Or if im sitting beside a fire.
As for the energy absorbed from none ionizing radiation, yes it can be dangerouse. But it all depends on strength and wave length. I could blast u with 50 Ghz wifi for 1h at -38 D/m2 of power and u would be fine, or i could blast u with 1h of micro(ironically micro waves arent that ”micro” in length but whatever that isnt the point) wave radiation(also none ionizing) and it would melt ur face off.Yet the wifi 50 Ghz was wayy wayyy higher energy in terms of wave length.
The wave energy wifi, 5G, radio.. etc give off are neglegable in power, truly miniscule. An army of engneers have tried to come up with ways to get ”free energy” by turning radio wave energy in the air(from wifi, radio.. etc) to electrical energy for years. Yet failed miserably as the output was in the micro to mili volt range, AKA minimal amounts of actual power going though the air.
So no, these radiation ammiters wont kill/give us cancer. Stop the nonesense

LapseOfApathy no.
Not more than radio frequency
@@callmeastaire5700 Jeez, you are such a shill. Are you part of the CIA troll squad?
Yes and no. The frequency is less than that of visible light, the light that surrounds us and so it's less energetic.
The problem comes from intensity. Let's say you have a cell tower that sends out radiation with 500 Hz. The further you are from it the less intense it is, but the frequency is independent of distance.
5G technology will have very high intensity because it will be on every corner down the street. Adding to that microwaves are absorbed by H2O (aka all living things) and so you have something that could be harmful.
It can kill. A test between 4 towers in Sweden downed a flock of birds. Basically they fell dead out of the sky.
You can tell something is up when people can't even debate the comments talking about health concerns, only attack or mock them
Health concerns for 5G shouldn't be specific to 5G. We have TONS of of radiation everywhere especially EM. This is just not a new issue.
@@Gongolongo - Also, it should be noted that 5G is not a frequency band - it is a network architecture. It will employ several existing technologies and existing frequency bands. Some of the new higher frequency bands will be new to the mobile application - but, have been in use for many years in fixed wireless and satellite applications. There isn't really anything novel about 5G, except the way the different pieces are being put together. The concern about the use of higher frequencies is particularly misplaced as these will mostly be reflected, rather than absorbed by human tissue. Chill out folks!

"Just imagin downloading an HD move in under a second" just imagin getting cancer in under a second
I need to know, ehre are you getting this information that 5G causes brain cancer?
Josiah Farnsworth You won't get cancer from a cell tower because it's not ionizing radiation. You should read up on what ionizing radiation is- most radiation we come into contact with is harmless.
Not brain cancer... ANY CANCER!
Stetson Graham... oh yeah? Go ahead and tell that to a hyper electro sensitive person! Have you ever heard of it? You should read up on what it is too! It is true and it's getting worse! 33% of the population feel direct effects from wifi, cellphones, bluetooth and all other radiation.
@Manon Séguin Is visible light or infra-red dangerous? They have thousands of times higher frequencies and sunlight at the surface of the Earth has millions of times higher power densities (excluding UV).
2 concerns:
Wouldn't beam forming reveal the exact location of every device in the network? (privacy issue?)
What about coverage? needing exponential amount of antennas impact this? Even 4G struggles having much longer wavelength...
😘😗
What does it do to plants/animals? Not one mention of whether or not its safe to use, being as the waves are so much more powerful than 4G
Animal & plant life are more electromagnetic hypersensitive that people
I've watched like six videos on what 5G is and they keep saying downloading movies, and I can't stop thinking "who the hell downloads movies anymore, what year is this?!"
Since you know more about 5G, is fiber optic faster?
Just imagine your mitochondrial Dna (mtdna) breaking down under the next layer of directional non native Emf .
It won't, the frequency range is non-ionizing, it'll only heat tissue at extreme power levels, similar to a microwave oven.
Fun fact: your cellphone can only produce 2 watts of RF power Max
just imagine living in a microwave . .... but as long as someone gets faster WiFi it's all good....... Well depopulation is an actual truth and behold this is the way it begins
And there's not a damn thing you or I can do to stop it. Nada, Nuttin. Ziltch.. Live life to your fullest. Enjoy everyday you have left on this earth. If Not 5G, They'd kill us all another way. It's a no win situation. U can deal with it. Or u can just blow your brains out now and get it over with.
Noi you fucking moron
No it's not the same as living in microwave. You are really extremally stupid if you think so.
I will try to explain it like for kids in kindergarten:
Imagine you are inside a car. Now you are getting hit by housefiles one by one, lets say the housefly hit your car with speed similar to 0.1km/h, and it happens 1000 times.
Now imagine that you got hit by car that was moving with speed like 100km/h. Do you see the difference?
The same applies to wifi and microwave. The router emits the waves with power similar the 0.1W, while the microwave emits the waves with power higher than 1000W.
If the waves are on the same frequency it doesn't mean they will blow your brain or something similar.
@@morsiskoPC I doubt he actually meant it literally. Even if he did the health concerns are still there. Oh and calling someone "extremely stupid" doesn't exactly make you sound clever yourself.
@@jehoma That call doesn't make me sound clever, however another part of the message acually does, at least smarter than the foilhead that talks bullshits
Will 5G have data caps in most packs?
5G, AI, IoT = Ultimate surveillance state/ technocracy
you have been using ai and iot since the early 2010s
5G hasnt been defined by the fcc yet. its just a marketing term right now.
Max Myzer You can go to arXiv and look at the progress they got with 5G, your statment is true.
Max Myzer & now the fcc is in full acceleration with the 5g as of TODAY
Wait. So you're saying trees & rain can "absorb" the signal...
And, we're just supposed to ignore the obvious implications for our actual bodies? Sign me up! 😐
And you are a scientist?
Paper can absorb alpha radiation, and so can the skin, but the skin faces no adverse affects from it.
@@Steffsh Maybe he just isn't a sucker.
I don't think the trees or rain are damaged by absorbing the electromagnetic radiation... they absorb solar radiation just fine, heck they die without it..... the absorption is bad for the user that wanted to receive the data and didn't get it... The raindrop does not give a shit, and the plants don't care about your service either....
Can't wait. Hilarious all the flat earther type comments here.

It is less hilarious when you realise these people are allowed to vote.
@Roland Roland News flash, Murica not the only country.
@Duke Hugh Johnson no, I described a person's action to label. A label is "a classifying phrase or name applied to a person or thing, especially one that is inaccurate or restrictive.

You certainly don't know what the Internet of Things means
This is potentially very dangerous technology. The video talks about the radiation being absorbed by rain and plants but do not talk about absorption in human skin!
www.cancer.org/cancer/cancer-causes/radiation-exposure/radiofrequency-radiation.html There is a reason why, it would only heat them a bit. And would just make your skin a bit warmer.
Theo de Sousa ok. Is that a full answer to all the unknowns this technology possesses. Early evidence shows a lot more problems then just a little heating. Lol
Well yes, it is not like this is some whole new kind of radio wave. We know how the rays work. Could you show me the "early evidence"?
+Dr Scott your subscription list shows links to perpetual motion type devices and the Thunderbolt project. Mind me if I take anything you say with a mining truck's worth of salt. So this is the next 'chemtrail' is it? I'm sure the flat-earthers will be overjoyed.

@@unacceptableonanon2655 okay, here you go. 5g won't have any great affect on health as the radiation isn't at a level that is Ionizing like UV rays. Learn basic physics and you'll understand this.
@@Khro Radiation doesn't need to be ionizing to be harmful.
right but do they know the effects this is gonna have maybe study effects before testing on large scale ?
what about health by more radiation?
Hemanth SP ok i'm going to basic science your ass
we are hit by more low energy radiation from the sun and stars than cell towers
what science your ass meaning??
Hemanth SP anything with a longer wavelenght than uv is non ionizing radiation, that means it cant hurt DNA and other molecules. Most radio or miliwaves can do is heat surfaces, so aslong as we arent noticably getting charred everytime we walk outside, we will be ok.
Seriously? Are you implying that as long as our skin doesn't burn from these frequencies, it must be safe? These are typical beliefs of someone who knows nothing about the actual science behind non-ionizing radiation. Non-ionizing radiation does not have enough energy to directly break DNA bonds, but it can through various mechanisms indirectly cause DNA damage and mutations AND weaken the immune system. This means that diseases like cancer will develop much more easily. Furthermore, 70% of peer-reviewed non-industry funded studies show that there ARE biological health effects from non-ionizing radiation. Read some science before spewing lies.
Wireless Action Then why hasn't everyone grown a bunch of tumors from their microwave ovens, which produce non ionizing radiation?
And by the way, I'm not implying that as long as it doesn't burn your skin, it's safe. In fact, microwave radiation CAN burn your skin and still be safe. There has been technology developed that allows microwaves to be fired at a person, and it feels like your skin is burning, but it actually does no damage to you whatsoever because it can't penetrate deeper than the very surface of your skin.
Everything you need to know about 5G - except for any of the health and social consequences. Well done!

agreed. Ppl always want a faster horse before car be invented.
@IlIllIIl lllIlllIlI you don't have a clue what you're talking about. There are routers that support 5GHz, but are not 5G. Two completely different things. 5G means 5th Generation. 5GHz (in the routers you're referring to), means 5 GigaHertz. This 5G referred to in the video is millimetre wave focused (whilst backwards compatible with lower frequencies), in the range 24-86 GHz. Do a bit of research into 5G dangers and 5G health risks. And stop sucking tech company dick.
Why do I feel 5g network will have lag in their network.

@@Khro All except one thing sir, I myself am an engineer and I can assure that this progress is unnecessary. It will take away not only your health with it's wave lengths going under regulations that was already common knowledge to not explore, it will open up technology that will take away only your humanity if you do happen to survive.
