    Hi, I actually own a food truck & I would like to say that these are just things people should know before opening a food truck but it should definitely not discourage you from opening your truck. Theres a lot of pro’s.
    1. low start up cost
    2. Opening a restaurant is EXPENSIVE if you dont have enough money for a restaurant and want to start building a name for yourself a food truck is definitely the route to go
    3. Flexibility to be able to take your business to any city
    4. You are a mobile marketing sensation everywhere you drive people are seeing your name it is easy for them to pull out their phone and follow you on IG
    5. You don’t need staff right off the bat you can work your business yourself in the beginning until you work your way up
    I think this video is discouraging, the weather is not a reason to not open a food truck. Because when the weather is bad your traffic in a store is slow too. So please entrepreneur give it a try!

I don't want a food truck because if it breaks down I'm out of business, with a trailer if my truck breaks down I can always rent a truck to tow my food trailer and I'm still good to go while my truck is in the shop!

    When I was much younger I was talking to someone who just quit working from a food truck, and she said the reason she quit, and the reason everyone should avoid working at a food truck, is that after a while because of the cooking it gets too hot. If you are planning the set up of a food truck try to factor in how to cool or heat your truck.

    • @MarketingFoodOnline
      @MarketingFoodOnline  2 года назад

      hey Ryan! Yes and no let me clarify, depending on the event some events being large and full of customers yes the potential is Huge for profit, but many food truck operators have to be persistent and patient in the goal of the food truck being a long-term business and reap huge profits, also aside from many factors like food costs , revenue, markup etc. you could or could not become rich. I have found running my food business stick with through the ups and down you WILL be a success.

    yeah very discouraging. No one thinks im going to do this to get rich. Some people see this as, well if i pour my heart and soul into my jobs and the company does not reward or pay me a living wage, if I can do that for myself and pour my heart and end up ontop making more than I would have otherwise working for a company. Then why would not try?! Telling me to play the lottery if i want to be rich is redicoulous. Most billionaires didnt win the lottery. They are self-made. Make something people will buy, and you have a consumer.
