The mamba's chances improves if they both were situated around dense trees, grass, and woods. It's only chance is to attack the croc's underbelly where it's more vulnerable.

Black mamba fangs are like hypodermic needles.. they are long and thin. Very potent venom but fangs are delicate..They can't generate crocodile armor unless like a lucky eye strike.. it was good as gone.. the fish eagle that showed up already also had that mamba invitation sights so either way.. it made a huge mistake going in the open...
