well killshot mortars did become a fairly common build for a while, but fell out of favor for others of better meta value. So it was kind of a call back to that. Not a particularly amazing or super fun build, but it was ok.
If a mortar weapon can fire like missle racks *but* only when the target is locked and no 100% chance of hit even in open (like javelins) would be an insane meta weapon! (I merfed it because, There should some nerf, if not it's too OP.)
I’m kinda terrified of the Savant, it might be kinda fun but it could also be REALLY broken

Again just another struggle for lower SP's cause there aren't much Surge, Nomad, Eclipse and Seekers to avoid/counter this weapon. Maybe best affordable mechs to defend at lower SP are Redeemer and Aegis.

I need help i have the long arm 8. My current strategy is sitting in a spot and shoting. But i feel its kinda unfair so any suggestions for mechs that are fast?(also im in the 3rd mech garage tier i think its the name but any suggestions thx u)
i notice fuse mortar has a very high degree of angle than helix (medium angle) and jav (low degree of angle)

I am not sure how viable this one is, considering that Aegis is now top dog within the tanks, there is a ton of scouts running around and maybe only some assaults and supports would be in some trouble
Yea the top meta options have ways of dealing with mortars. Arguably though, this could kills an aegis dome so it does work as a counter to that. And if we get a 16 (which i would think we will) this may have some viability for heavy mechs to some.
I like the weapon, honestly. It's better mortars in every way, and I can see it being used with Support mechs such as hemlock, Orion or Solis. Post disc nerf, there hasn't been a proper way to counter snipers, so this will be a welcome addition to the game. But yeah, boring to play.
The thing I hate about mortars, especially at my level, is that they just kill anything instantly, and you can't escape them or hide away (cuz implant)

Completely agree, this is not worth it. To many maps you can’t use high flying projectiles for this to work. Yes it could work in cpc, but really why bother, I find mortars boring to play and not that effective in the current meta of high speed mechs.
New annoying combo: lancer 2.O + fuse mortars
Mortar killshot used to be in my setup, but even befor the obvious 2 disc builds
Killshot mortar as a counter to mortar campers since they cant hit you and you get close with range implant so they cant dodge,
These times are over, fusemortar doesn't change that at all, cause tournament isnt mortar farming anymore and for any other mode all those fast stealthy mechs 😂 the regular mortar/helix/jav camper doesn't even cap points so good luck with that not adopting to change 😂 not every shiny legendary they offer will make you any good.. just push your sp to a level where people are mean 😂

I mean depends on what is ur playstyle ur current weapons and future weapons u are going for and stuff tengu start and 8 which will take a bit to lvl up and be useful stalker start off at 12 so it can be useful and be easier to upgrade. Ngl just go for stalker

i haven’t played in a year i just occasionally check up on this channel but i’d choose surge
I am at rank 7, is it better to rank up and go to rank 8 or buy railgun 12. I currently dont have any long range or sniper weapon. The only long range weapon i have is dual gravaton beam 12. I was planning on buying railgun 12 before, but some time ago they released some weapons on credits in tier 7. So if i buy those and spend some acoins, i will have the required stars to go to tier8. Which would you recommend?

@@MDDM_Poseidon the reason for the question was that in tier 8, the better sniper weapons are there, like em rifle 16 and railgun 16.
@@Aa-rl7po because of utility and the holy trinity of mech arena (sorg nomad eclipse) railgun 12 is better than railgun 16 and em 12 is better than em 16

@@Aa-rl7po Yeah railgun 12 is still better because medium mechs (24 energy) are better than heavy mechs (32 energy)

As the main one doesnt go above 12 i wouldnt be surprised if this one doesnt either, for balancing.
Mech arena's weapon balancing is terrible, a skill less weapon like helix can outperform something more skilled like miniguns.
In my opinion they are slowly killing the game i lost the passion of playing this game and they just want money for weapons and take a year or two just to put some weapons in the gear hub

i also never liked the normal Mortar.
If we get 16s, than this will be the first weapon where 16s would actually work better than 12s. U mostly just sit back with mortar builds. So Sitting back with scorpious or guardian with 16s wud be much better than running 12s. Attackers finally wud have some usage other than panther.

@@SVD23035 12s perform better than those 16 variants. Why? Bcoz 12s can be used on the meta mechs which are 24en one. Statistically, 16s are better, but practically 12s perform better on battlefield. 16s can only be used on attackers, but except panther, no attacker currently has any place in top meta hangar. Even panther is easily replaceable. But yh maybe helix 16 might be better.
@@uau_exitar Well you should've said it this way before to avoid confusion, now our thoughts are the same so couldn't agree more... The best builds in game are combined of mechs with 24EC (Eclipse, Nomad, Seeker, etc) and 12EC weapons are more than sufficient to counter anything in this meta 👍🏻
