Yes they made a Frieza song, but what really made them blow up was "What's Up People?" being used for an OP in Death Note. One of their songs was also used in Chainsaw Man
This is fantastic. Shimi is an older MTH track from 2007. AG fit into this collab incredibly well. MTH is pretty legandary in Japan and very influential. Hanabie started out as a MTH cover band and the drummers from Band-Maid & Nemophila were inspired by MTH's drummer, Nao (She was the last solo singer in the video) that girls could be drummers. Nemophila has also done 2 covers. MTH loves genre flips on a dime and it works perfectly. The visuals in this MV are phenomenal. Grungy, post apocalyptic, traditional Japanese culture, even some Japanese horror movie elements. Check out Satsui Vs Satsui, it's fire as well.
Well, I guess he noticed the rap part was different. Other than that, they totally missed the fact that the song was featuring a completely different group this time!🤷♂️
Music that incorporates elements of various genres is called “Mixture rock” in Japan. This term uses English words, but it is not pure English. It is “Japanese English = Fake English. It is a term that originated spontaneously from nowhere in Japan. Maximum the Hormone has long been classified as “Mixture rock” because they incorporate not only metal and punk, but also cutie pop . The Red Hot Chili Peppers are also in the “Mixture rock” category because they actively incorporate funk and rap into their rock-based music. Incidentally, MTH admire System of a Down. However, only the bassist of MTH respects RHCP's Flea more than SOAD. If Flea were to fall into heaven, MTH's bassist would commit suicide afterwards.
Literally not 1 mention of the reason they redid this song…as a feature with the group Atarashi Gakko.
I don't think the blond dude even realized 4 different girls were singing? lol
@@duzypokoj1151 did he notice anything at all?

They must be watching the same blurry MV as us and couldn't notice AG?? 🤣🤣
LOL I guess the title din't give them a hint.

Akane Hirose (drummer of Band-Maid) said Nao from MTH was her biggest influence. I think Nao has influenced a generation of Japanese drummers.
