    Definitely learning that they only respond to what they want to. And it gets under my skin so bad. I’m running a business you’re running a business and you can’t be professional enough to reply to an email or tablet message when I have questions or need assistance with something.

    If I remember correctly from orientation. Schneider PC rules. You can’t PC while under a load, with an empty trailer, and as long as you have time on your 14 hour clock. That’s what I’ve been told. That’s their rules.

    Hey brother. I changed up to intermodal. Im in Mesquite tex going on day 2 of orientation training. Im not sure but seems they'd prefer you stay a company driver than try being an owner operator. Very clean, friendly family environment.

    If a person buy a truck and decide to go under Schneider is that a good idea and how the freight with Schneider is it slow or they have a lot of freight

      Exactly so basically you can never use it 🤦🏽‍♂️ unless you on a 34 with no trailer. I do my 34’s at home so at that point I don’t need it lol.

    Landstar is a good choice. My guy just went there and is staying busy. They train you really well and need more flatbed drivers. Schneider does micro manage and I’m starting my own authority cuz after 6 months I’m already fed up with their 💩. Don’t get me wrong, they have the cargo to move but it’s too annoying for my liking.

    Use PC to what it is Personal Convenience. When I worked for Schneider and ran out of hours, I used to just run to a safe place that i feel safe for me to park. If it whent over my 11 for the day, oops 😅. They are not micromaniging you. I have to do the same things with my drivers. Believe me if they were you wouldn't be making the $ that you are doing be safe

    • @LifeOfKO
      @LifeOfKO  2 месяца назад +1

      According to the rules you can never use pc for what it’s suppose to be used for. If it’s past 14 hours you can’t use it. If you got a trailer you can’t use it. If you under a load you can’t use it. So realistically the only time you can use it according to them is basically if you on a 34 and you’ll have to not have a trailer. At that point what’s the point in having it if I can’t use it for my “personal time”.

    • @Jose-gq8wc
      @Jose-gq8wc 2 месяца назад

      @LifeOfKO yes that's true. I have had to tell my drivers the same thing. They are too strict with it. But there are a lot of reasons why they do it that way. You are right, but imagine having thousands of drivers doing the same.

  • @kevincracolici7598
    @kevincracolici7598 2 месяца назад

    Yeah you shouldnt PC, in a situation like that I was always told just to ultimately violate the 14, and get to a safe haven where you can park and when you explain to them why you did it they're going to maybe give you a little slump for the rest if they don't do that again if you can help it obviously they'll say trip plan better we both know that's hard but just violate the 14 don't go into PC I'm curious to see what he's going to say. (😊 That's funny, I typed all of this prior to watching the whole video and coincidentally didn't know 😊 Right away that they got back to you and you answered it in the video)

    • @LifeOfKO
      @LifeOfKO  2 месяца назад +1

      Yea they did. It just don’t make sense to me of how you get told one thing by logs and another by management. Pointless to have pc if in reality I can only use it on a 34 IF I have no trailer 🤦🏽‍♂️

      @@LifeOfKO The problem is, Schneiders policy on PC is different and more restrictive than the DOTs policy however you can ask five different people at Schneider and get seven different answers even though when you ask them. Makes it really difficult to get the correct information when everyone gives out different information

    That’s DOT rules nothing to do with them micromanaging. I have my own authority and DOT dinged me for PC when I shouldn’t have used it. If you know all the routes stick with Schneider

    • @LifeOfKO
      @LifeOfKO  2 месяца назад +1

      Learning routes is nothing. I don’t look at that as micromanaging I said to much of it will have me leave. When you got a company with multiple people telling you different reasons you can do one thing it gets confusing. I’ve always been told that if it’s something you are getting paid for then DONT use pc. If it’s something you not getting paid to do then you can use it. I was going home.

    • @user-se3hj5hr1q
      @user-se3hj5hr1q 2 месяца назад +1

      You can’t use PC to go home. Only time you can use it if you dropped a trailer at a company yard and bobtailed home. If you have a trailer attached you can’t PC home empty or loaded. I read the full DOT rulebook on PC. We gotta know the law ourselves. Can’t expect 9-5 workers to tell you stuff you run a business

    • @user-se3hj5hr1q
      @user-se3hj5hr1q 2 месяца назад +1

      I didn’t mean learning routes I meant you know the lanes like what loads are going to be available each week.

    • @LifeOfKO
      @LifeOfKO  2 месяца назад

      @user-se3hj5hr1q it don’t matter what the FMCSA says. These companies all have they own rules boss so reading the laws just to be told something different does what for you? Like having a firearms. It’s not against the law for it but companies don’t allow it. Same with split breaks it’s not against the law but some companies allow and some don’t.

    • @LifeOfKO
      @LifeOfKO  2 месяца назад

      @user-se3hj5hr1q that’s what I mean though. I was told by a dot office that pc’ home, gym and a store is fine. You’ll get told 19574839 ways to run it from different people.
