@@rbfitness6494 once you get on they'll start you out at 45. Then $100 per trailer you do, then the on duty time. I gross $2200 $1800 take home

i got a brand new freight liner truck with schneider . Good company to me so far , just started 2 weeks ago

(1) I get between .35 and .39 cents per mile. (2) $10 when on duty not driving. (3) It's hard work. (4) The driver managers WILL NAG YOU!!! --- He sugar coats it just a little bit. Still, I would say now that I'm used to it, I'm OK/content/happy with my decision to go to Schneider first
when you sign that student agreement for 9 months after u get your CDL with them how much you have to pay them back before you leave?

you can leave without paying , the charge goes to collections , its 2k

Hey man, how do I go about trying to get a Grant in my State to get my CDL…..I heard you talking about it in this video……I might as well try to do that and see if I can get my CDL training for free before going to CFI and be under contract with them for a year
Look up in google grants for cdl in whatever state your in. Or go to the unemployment office tell them your unemployed and they will help you get it.

This is BS. "Untold" truth, whatever... Watch other Scheider videos... Clickbait, yeahhhh..... I work for Schneider and they are not this "amazing". You need more life experience... (Total big corporate.) However, you haven't been alive enough. (Not your fault. But your opinion is your fault.) Unlike!.... do not "come work for Scheider". Use Scheider for their training, then leave for a more educated path.

Hey man I’m starting orientation next week with Schneider. How strict is their phone policy? I heard you’re not even allowed to wear a headset while driving. How true is this and if so how do you deal with driving all those hours without being able to talk on the phone with family or friends.
Yea this is all true and I listen to podcasts and music the whole time. They don’t watch you tho or call in and check up on you.
I start orientation on the 4th in Charlotte. Just got my cdl’s a month ago. I’m on a dedicated regional account.

I had got sent home due to medical papers. But the process is really good they’re really big on safety. Just take your time. There’s a lot of videos you have to watch in the first week you have to get them all watched and there is some test you have to take at the end of the videos you have to make 70 or better, if not they will send you home. I’m going to try to go back with in the following month, I’m going back to the Charlotte OC.

terrible company . drove for 3 months with them and dipped . the company itself aint bad its the driver managers that are terrible

Hey can someone answer this ? How long is the training and how long are you on the road with a mentor?
4-5 days
Training is 2 weeks of in class instruction/ yard & street practice. After that, you will be out 1 week with a mentor

@@gfp9k496 around 2 hrs the first 3 days for tablet work, then the rest is yard work. Throughout the training you’ll be in & out the classroom.
I have one more week of training then will be with my mentor. Good luck to anyone joining or starting a career in trucking
I mean wear a Bluetooth headset and if you can't drive hands free something is wrong witcha lol
