Having pride is Islam is different from having pride in yourself, your lineage, or your actions. You must have complete pride in Islam, because this is the Deen of Allah and this deserves all the pride in the world. You will be flawed in your actions or practices, which you have to admit, because you are only human and humans are forgetful. But when it comes to Islam being the truth, you must have absolute conviction and complete pride in it.
@@Mochi-re8cv what is commonly mistranslated as pride is closer to arrogance. if one is proud of something good, like raising righteous children, or making improvements in their own Islam, then this is good as long as the pride does not lead to arrogance or they don't think they're better than others. but being proud of worldly things that Allah has blessed you with, such as your lineage, your looks, or your wealth, etc. is sinful because this takes away from your humility before Allah. but being proud of Islam, Allah, His Prophets, and His angels, is good because this does not lead to arrogance, but rather increases your love for Allah and His Deen, and increases your humility before Allah.
Alhamdulillah. Barak Allahu feekum.
Just brothers and sisters remember Allah swt does not like the prideful so don’t be overly prideful so you don’t earn the anger off Allah swt 🌺
