I love the Dr Bronner peppermint 18-in 1 bottle I've only used it twice already and I'm honestly in love😍😍😍

Hi Trisha! Thanks for your thoughts on Dr. Bronner's 18-in-1 pure castile soaps and I am absolutely with you! It's amazing that you can use it for personal care as well as cleaning your entire house with it - all natural and chemical-free! I use it for laundry, mopping my floors, cleaning my sinks and bathtubs - literally anything I can think of and depending on how much you dilute it, you can control the strength of its cleaning power, making a single bottle last a very long time. Have you tried the 4-in-1 organic sugar soaps mentioned in this video? It's equally effective in melting the thickest of makeup and is much gentler than its castile counterpart if you use it primarily for body care. 😊

Because of you I just got myself a bottle of the Peppermint scented Dr.Bronners Soap! I'm going to use it for morning facial cleansing, THANK YOU! I use the Ole Henriksen African Red Tea Cleanser at night! :)

I cannot wait to try! Went to Amazon and could not decide on a scent, so I got the lemongrass, the lavender, unscented, and peppermint, not crazy about tee tree. Great video, and thanks for the shout out!!

It was my pleasure, Michelle! Thank YOU again for the vital info! 😊 And WOW, you've bought almost ALL their scents - I hope you enjoy them all when they arrive! As you can tell from the video, my ultra fave is lemongrass lime but I'm always a sucker for the citrusy scents HAHA! Feel free to let me know your thoughts after you use it and since I've never tried the unscented or the peppermint ones yet, I'd appreciate if you could let me know if they smell nice! 😝

Oh, I just wanted to add another thing. If you are in Love with washing your face with soap or other products with a high PH. Then you can help your skin by using a Toner with the right PH or Low PH directly after and then apply a skin care product with lower PH.
My favorite thing to do is a Yogurt mask and let it sit on the skin for 30 min. It works wonders! Yogurt usually have a PH around 4.4 which calms down inflammation and acne pron skin... Plain yogurt will do. Just a tip. :)

    • @WhatsInItBeauty
      @WhatsInItBeauty  8 лет назад +1

Hi again Pennie! More wonderful tips from a wonderful person - THANK YOU SO MUCH! As mentioned in response to your other comment, I always use toner and moisturizer immediately after I wash my face or from showering/bathing because I feel that the extra moisture and warmth reinforces product absorption onto the skin while balancing my skin's pH balance from this soap (fingers crossed)! I'm currently testing out a natural American brand toner and a S. Korean brand moisturizer and I truly wished the FDA would require cosmetic companies to disclose the pH balance and their ingredient formulation percentages on the box of their products before they're allowed onto the market. We, as the consumer, really shouldn't have to work this hard to find information that pertains to our well-being! I've enjoyed plain yogurt masks but didn't know the exact pH level frame so since you've provided that info, it's more incentive to do it more often! Please allow me to also share that when I have my hormonal breakouts, I calm my skin with some raw organic honey with some aloe vera gel. And during the super dry winter months or after a good run with the sun/wind drying out my face, I just mix a bit of the same raw organic honey along with some plain yogurt and mashed avocado and for me, it really softens my skin like, for a lack of a better word, a baby's butt! 😆 And as you already know, the best facial mask is when you can eat it so I try not to lap it all up before the facial is done! Again, I truly appreciate you sharing your knowledge and wonderful tips here in this community! Thanks Pennie! 😊

Thank you for reading my comments and replying to them!!! I really appreciate that!!!😃👏🏻😊 I think that you are doing all the right things for your skin with using a toner and moisturizer and also the masks. And it's always good to try new products and sometimes it works wonders no matter what. It's all about keeping the skin happy, and that can be easier said then done, 😂
I hope that you and yours are having a wonderful Holiday Season!!! Blessings and Light!

Thank you. I use Dr Bronner's castile soap as a shower gel and I really feel safe with it. Was actually looking for something for face and hair as natural as the soap I'm already using for my body. I have oily skin and I'm afraid of acne though. On the other hand, I also have Endometriosis and I need to drasticly reduce chemical contamination if I want a better quality of life... Your channel seems very helpfull. I have an eye on Burt's Bee, they have a few products ( for mums and babies ) that are 100% natural ( they say). Have you tried any? How about deodorants?! I have tried a few natural ones in the past but they don't work as good as a very strong, 48h, chemically packed one - and that's what I find I need, a very, very effective one. Thanks and sorry I ask so many questions

Thanks so much for your kind words, Mirela! I appreciate you sharing your thoughts on Dr. Bronner's castile soaps - I use them on everything I can think of: from washing my hands, dishes, laundry to mopping my floors and cleaning my sinks and bathtubs! I now use the 4-in-1 organic sugar soaps primarily for make-up removal because its does so effortlessly and so gently! And like you, the fact that it gives me the peace of mind that I'm not slathering myself with chemicals is priceless! I created this channel after my mom survived cancer (she is the first in her healthy family lineage to have the disease) and now prefer to avoid all chemical preservatives and ingredients that may contain carcinogenic impurities. Through my videos, she’s now learned a list of chemicals she knows by heart to avoid when she goes out shopping and I really wanted to also help and connect with like-minded friends like you out too! I appreciate your Burt's Bees and deodorant suggestions, Mirela! I absolutely agree that safer products are harder to find so I will continue my hunt for them. I purchase all products on my own and when it comes to skin care products, I only make videos of items that I’ve used for at least a couple of months since the skin requires time to fully adapt to the new product and results shown then are truer so if you haven't already, please join our health conscious community so you won't miss future analysis videos! Hello Arian, Thank you for the video. You say to be careful not to get Dr Bonners in your eyes because it will burn. I use Purity mainly for removing my waterproof mascara and also wash my face. How could I switch to Dr Bonners if I need another product to remove mascara? One step is so much easier.

Hi! :) Sure thing. I have the Link here, and I have copied and pasted the message where the info can be found but it can also be found via the Link plus other great info about the products.

Hi Eugenia - Welcome to Dr. Bronner’s! Yes, you would still need
to use the Hair Rinse with the pump soaps. They would have the same
affect as the castile as for as pH goes. They need to be balanced with
something acidic. And yes, different essential oils definitely have
different reactions on the skin. Tea Tree and Peppermint are more
drying so are great options for people with oily skins or who get
sweaty. The Lavender, almond, citrus and others would be less drying.
Hi Amy - The pH of the pump soaps is around 9.0, which is a bit higher than the castile, which is 8.9.
    All the best,
    Lisa
Another Link that I have here for anyone who might be interested in PH and how it effects the skin is on Carolyn's Facial Fitness page. Good explaining and easy to read and understand for anyone.

I can mention that I have owned 2 skin care salons in Sweden before I moved to the US 10 years ago, so any questions you or anyone else might have, I will do my very best to help answer. I have struggled myself with skin issues, that is why I made the choice in my early 20's to make it my mission and work with it.

WOW I am so appreciative of the wonderful sources you've provided, Pennie! 😊 Thank you so much for taking the time to do this! This vital info will definitely help our fellow Inner Beauty friends here when they read your comment so they can decide whether or not this product is right for them. For me, my skin has reacted positively from this pump soap, does wonders melting off my makeup and I also always use toner and moisturizer immediately after washings so I've chosen to continue using this soap - at least for now until I find something better! But since I now know the higher pH balance (all thanks to you!), it's imperative that I don't slack off conditioning and moisturizing right after in order to balance my skin out! I'm so thankful of you for sharing your amazing story - it's truly wonderful and awe-inspiring to meet a successful female entrepreneur like you here in RUclips land! And what are the odds that we both have the same interest in finding safe and balanced products that work for our sensitive skin and for the goodness of our health! As you put it, LOVE AND LIGHT is great indeed and I am so thankful to have crossed paths with you through my humble channel! You definitely have lots of knowledge and experience in this topic and I sincerely thank you in advance for kindly offering to answer any questions from me and fellow friends in our community! I will continue my hunt for a more pH balanced facial cleanser and will have you in my thoughts as I test things out! Thanks so much for the motivation! 😄

I did some research, and I found that the Dr. Bronner's organic pump soap has a PH of 9 which is way too high for cleaning my face. Maybe it will feel great at first but in the long run it will age the skin sadly. Maybe its going to work for some but I must say that I will keep looking. I will use it for my hands and in the shower, but not for face and more sensitive PH body parts.

Hi Pennie! I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to research and coming back to let me and other health conscious friends who will read this comment thread know of your findings! May I ask if you could kindly share the source link? I am very interested and I'm sure that other fellow Inner Beauty friends here would be so, too! I truly wished the FDA would require cosmetic companies to disclose the pH balance and their ingredient formulation percentages on the box of their products. We, as the consumer, really shouldn't have to work this hard to find it! I am far from being an expert in all of this so I'm so happy that I followed my passion to create this channel where we can truly connect, discover, and learn from other like-minded folk like you here, Pennie! I'm glad to also hear that you've made the decision to not use it on your face but will for hands and in the shower - it's wonderful that when we are aware of what's out there that we can make informed choices that fits our own unique self! Thank you so much for sharing this more natural alternative with us! I wonder if the Dr. Bronner's 18-in-1 is meant to be a face wash as well 🤔 I would suppose so.
I'm afraid I'm ill informed regarding the subject of pH; how do I know what level my skin needs? 🤷🏻‍♀️ I'm guessing from your initial comment & the fact that skin types vary, pH needs may vary as well. Is it just a matter of trial & error?

Thanks so much for sharing your personal experience with Dr. Bronner products, Luthien! We may all use the same products but have very different reactions so your input really helps friends who watch this video understand better of what to expect. I agree that this organic soap is a higher pH balance that does dry out the skin a bit but for me personally, the effectiveness of it melting off my makeup and that it contains no harmful carcinogens provides me peace of mind and is enough for me to accept a bit of the dryness that comes with the territory. I also get around this by using toner and moisturizing immediately each and every time after using this soap to balance the skin. I'm definitely in the process of testing out more safer skincare products, including more facial washes, so if you haven't already, please join our community here so you won't miss future analysis videos! Hi Aria! WOW!! What Awesome videos you are making!! Thank you for doing that!! :D Oki, so I was about to buy Purity and I wanted to see some review videos first since I have not been using the brand before. Well, I decided NOT to go ahead and buy the Purity and now I am excited to go with Dr. Bronner's! I have been using their hard soap many years ago, but never the liquid one for the face and body. My skin is SUPER sensitive and for some time I have been breaking out. Not pimples but more stress and "using the wrong cleansing products" kinda breakouts...
My skin is also oily, not so wonderful, ekkkkkkk!! lol! My question to you is, can this formula from Dr.Brommer's irritate the skin and how does it work on oily skin and breakouts? We also have hard water so I am wondering if you know the PH of the organic Pump Soaps or approx? Thank You so much again for these videos, they are beyond GREAT! :D

THANK YOU so much for your kind words and feedback, Pennie! I am a new channel so your comment makes me SOOO happy and motivates me to continue making more videos! 😄 So glad to have helped you save some money from buying Purity and that you're thinking about a healthier alternative to pamper yourself with! Your skin type sounds very similar to mine as most of what I've been using has had very high pH levels, irritating fragrance chemicals, and hazardous preservatives that I've found at Sephora, Nordstrom, and Ulta. I have combination skin and on my monthly Aunt Flo visits, tend to get extra oily and for me, Dr. Bronner's has actually helped balance and cleared my skin wonderfully. I always make sure to moisturize after every washing to soothe the skin as well! I'm unable to find the exact pH balance for this particular 4 in 1 soap, but all of their products have mostly low levels so I'm confident that this product is too. The Citric Acid used in this 4 in 1 soap adjusts the pH balance if necessary and is reinforced with their other natural components of Organic Hemp Oil and Organic Shikakai - which are both naturally low in pH and balances our skin's oils and moisture! But just to be on the safe side, I recommend you trying out their smaller sizes to see how your skin reacts to it. 😊 I'm currently hunting more healthier and natural products out there (they're hard to find!) so stay tuned, Pennie! Hope you'll join our health conscious community if you haven't already so you won't miss any future analysis videos. Have an awesome day and CHEERS to our well-being! 😊

Hey there, magic vita! 😃 This versatile soap is super effective in removing makeup with safer ingredients but since the pH levels are high at 9, that may pose a problem for dry skin. If you choose to try this solely for its effectiveness in gentle makeup removal, I highly suggest using a toner and moisturizer immediately after to balance your skin after washings. We may all use the same product but our bodies may react very differently to it so hope this info helps you further! I recently purchased a facial cleanser that is not entirely natural in its ingredients, but is pH balanced so if you haven’t already, please subscribe to be part of this health conscious community so you won't miss future analysis videos. That's amazing that you've tried making your own moisturizer, Ax! 😄 It's never a failure because I'm sure you've learned more about how to improve the formulation if you choose to experiment again in the future - and that "secret sauce" formulation will be from numerous iterations so hang in there! You have my cheers! It is truly fascinating how we may all use the same product but react very differently - hence the importance of being aware of what the ingredients are. Thank you so much for your tremendously empowering words about my humble channel! You've brought tears to my eyes! What inspired me to create this channel was a member of my immediate family who survived cancer last year (she is the first in her healthy family lineage to have the disease) and now prefer to avoid all chemical preservatives and any other ingredient that may contain carcinogenic impurities for her peace of mind. Through my videos, she’s now learned a list of chemicals she knows by heart to avoid when she goes out shopping and I'm also slowly helping her transition to more natural, toxin-free products that are equally as effective as the mainstream ones with my One Two Beauty Review series. I’m in my early 30s and have developed an allergy to Methylisothiazolinone and Methylchloroisothiazolinone so I’ve learned to avoid products that contain those preservatives as well. My personal experience and what my family has gone through compelled me to create this channel so I truly hope to help health conscious friends like you out as well! I'm so thankful to meet a like-minded friend like you here in RUclips land, Ax! Work and life may get crazy sometimes but I will continue to actively hunt down and test products and make time to make more videos! Your empowering comment fuels me to work harder. THANK YOU! 😊

I am very sorry to hear about that :( this is horrible disease and no one should go through it! Please give her a big hug from me!!! I am reading fallowing and learning about health and everything hat goes with it and every new discovery shocking me every time :( no days you have to be careful ton only what you are putting on your skin but also what you eat what product you are using even a toothpaste!!! are harmful!!! My mum was telling me storys about my grand grandma how healthy she was how her face was (we are calling) baby bum, no wrinkles no discoloration, how her hair was in very tight braid and thick two fists! and everything what she was using was herbs and plants from fields and garden. thanks to that i know few tricks :) i am sorry to say that but people now days not realising what they are doing to themselves :( and i am not better but am avoiding bad stuff as much as i can. I had injury 5 years ago leaving me being disable and in constant pain. I know how bad they are and how much damage they are doing to my body thats why i am trying do everything else as healthy as possible! but even then products we are buying from shops are bad :( i have to say i miss my home and big fruit and veg garden where everything you eat had natural colour and flavour. I can carry on hahaha
If you are looking for some ideas on new video let me know my head is full of ideas :) Love Anna x

Thank you so much, Anna! My mom is a survivor and I hug her every day so I’ll definitely let her know your warm regards! And I am heartbroken to hear about your hardships, Anna, but even though I haven’t met you in person, you write with such eloquence and conviction that makes me know that you are an inspiring and strong woman who will fight the good fight. Sending you lots of love and healing vibes for a speedy recovery! 💕 Thank you so much for sharing your Grand Grandmother’s story - it’s so wonderful that you’ve learned so much about herbalism and herbology from her! I am so happy that you also have such loving memories of your home with a fruitful organic garden - I’ve never experienced such wonder because living in a bustling, congested city is all I know! That’s why I enjoy long drives to the mountains where I can escape with a refreshing hike to bask in nature. 😄 And just like you, I am constantly anxious about the things I eat and use on my body too but I also try to keep myself in check because triggering stress hormones aren’t good as well. Hence, along with the skin and body care products I use daily for analysis and reviews that I do, I also exercise daily, eat healthy organic foods (ok, maybe one cheat day weekly where I indulge on a red velvet cupcake!), meditate, and just recently started yoga to take better care of myself. I am deeply appreciative of you offering ideas for potential future videos! Feel free to share some of your holy grails with me as I am always yearning to connect and learn from friends like you here! 😊

do you have clarins product review?

    • @WhatsInItBeauty
      @WhatsInItBeauty  7 лет назад +1

Hello Atiya (what a lovely name 😊 )! I do plan to try out Clarins products so I hope you'll stay tuned! I buy all products on my own and when it comes to skin care products, I only make videos of items that I’ve used for at least a couple of months since the skin requires time to fully adapt to the new product (and at least a few weeks in different weather and occasions with makeup). This ensures that I put out the most accurate, complete and honest opinion of it in hopes to help you friends out so if you haven't already and would like to, please join our health conscious community here so you won't miss future analysis videos. Thanks for dropping by and do so again soon!

So lovely that your name not only sounds lovely, it also has such a wonderful meaning behind it, Atiya! 😊 My parents just named me from the rolling credits after a TV show! 😅 Thank you so much for helping me spread the love to your friends and family. Your kind words and support fuel me to continue to work harder to make more videos so I appreciate you very much! 😊

Hi Jean and WELCOME to our health conscious community here! As mentioned in the video, this organic sugar cleanser works wonders in melting all of my foundation and lipstick so I hope you'll enjoy it too! We may all use the same product but our bodies may react very differently to it so feel free to let me know your thoughts on it if you choose to try it out. 😊 I'm actively hunting and testing out more products so stay tuned for more analysis videos! Have a wonderful day/night and stop by again soon!
