They are superb. Best in class by far! Left my crappy Tacoma at the Ford dealer in '19 an left w/Ranger XLT FX4. Been 3yrs & it's better than ever! The Gen2 - 2.3L TGDI Ecoboost loves full synthetic oil & Motorcraft filters every 5k mis.
Hard to beat these trucks! Looked at every midsized truck summer '19 then drove new Ranger. Was so much better than all others ..if you value strongest frame, proven tech w/ Gen2- 2.3L TGDI motor & F150s 10spd tranny etc. It drives so nicely. Added a Fox 2.0 shock kit to my FX4 optioned Ranger XLT & it's even better on rd & off rd. Pricey tho for kit. Eibach makes good stage 1 kit under $900. For the beefy tires you get w/FX4 it's an ultra smooth ride. 3yrs now w/truck it's been flawless. Home run Ford! 👍
We have been doing this since last year and we are in a small town on the big island of Hawaii. We just completed an overland rig with over $20k in aftermarket parts.
We did one of the first 2019's that dropped off the truck as a year ago. We are catching up on RUclips videos as Paul managed another one of our dealerships for a while to help out and is now back at this location so stay tuned for a lot more content! :)
Nice. Have an overland theme on my '19 Ranger XLT FX4 w/Fox 2.0 shock kit. Truck has been phenomenal on rd & off! 3yrs on now.. been absolutely flawless. Good mpgs for a 4wd too. Zero complaints! 💯
6inch lift is such overkill. 3in is plenty on mine. Also looks like you need to get wider flares in the back, whats the point of flares if they don't cover the wheels
Just add one of many stage 1 or 2 Fox, Eibach, Rancho etc kits. Adds 2in & levels truck perfect! Love my '19 Ranger XLT FX4 even more now. Perfect midsized truck.
RC lift kit is kind of junk and their is a major difference between the 4x4 and the FX4....not only skid plates but terrain management and rear locker....
Paul - Very professionally narrated walk around. Nice work.. I'm assuming the color match rivet style fender flares are a dealership painted Tough Country item? - Also, who is the supplier of those door sills?..... Very nice touch.
It's a very well detailed well built truck stock. Ford knows trucks! They are the leader & have been for 45yrs. Can't beat em. I've tried others always came bk to Ford trucks.
Installed the Fox 2.0 shock kit on my '19 Ranger XLT FX4 w/ its inherent 2in lift .. awesome. An overlander theme thats a superb daily driver. Can't beat the phenomenal powertrain of Gen2 - 2.3L TGDI!
My 2020 XLT does everything I need. In 2 years I’m buying a Tremor and then I’m done. I drive about 12000 miles a year, so I expect I should have it 10 years. After that I won’t need a truck. I was told you don’t drive in heaven.
What a fast talking ass whip. U could do that for 1/2 the price he wants and make it better (dealership mark ups only an idiot would buy) i live overseas and have had a 3.2 diesel and trust me 5 inches is more then enough for 35's. 4 inch is perfect for smaller tires. 6 is overkill and defeats any possibility off off-road functionality
I just speced a 2020 ranger lariat fx4. For $45,000 it should come with a tailgate damper and power rear sliding window. I would much rather have those 2 items vs park assist and the safety crap. If you cant drive without the vehicle telling you you're driving right, then you dont need to be on the road putting others at risk.
Nice I got a blue XLT FX4 2021 just put side steps and tailgate damper I have a 2.5" leveling kit I need to throw on when I have time so I can run 33"s on it. It's pretty amazing on the beach and in the rain I hydroplaned bad and the truck seemed to stay on the road. Best truck I ever bought
Total price of the truck including lift, tire, wheels, fenders, labor etc. is $40,000. Thanks for watching. You can see the listing here: www.lascoford.com/new/Ford/2020-Ford-Ranger-for-sale-Fenton-Michigan-bae35ed30a0e0adf2ba66a590ae834ba.htm?searchDepth=5:10
A 6” Lift is too much. You won’t be able to go into an underground parking garage or a drive through car wash with that high of a lift. Also shorter people will have a hard time getting into the truck. I put a 3” lift on my truck and it looks aggressive enough. Plus, a high lift like that makes the tires look too small.

Not certain if this is the mid sized ranger or full size, but if this is the mid sized ranger with a 4 banger under the hood its a waste of money to dump any extras into it with a baby 4 banger in it.. Ford engineers need to get off the drugs & realize that consumers by the MAJOTRITY wants a 6 banger under the hood when these engineers get off the drugs & start thinking straight to put a 6 banger under the hood only then I would consider to have interest in a ranger.
Lol, it's twin turbo. You get more torque than the v6 in any other midsize truck with a v6. They don't even run v8s in formula 1 anymore. They use v6 with turbos and electric motors.
Maybe you don't know your vehicles well but it's obvious it's a Ranger, i.e. the "midsize" pickup, and not the larger F-150. (and yes I know that midsize pickups today like the Ranger or a Chevy Colorado (I have one) are about the size of a full size pickup truck back in the 1970s, 1980s and even early 1990s depending on manufacturer.
What is this? Ranger Walk Around For Dummies? We all know what a Ranger looks like, stop pointing out every little detail and get to the modified bits.
its definitely NOT for off-roading, just a suburbia, visual, fantasy off-roading. I see a lot of guys around town in my area with lifted trucks like this just for visual effects.
Eh rock crawling might be out of the option but with the advancements in shock tech I bet it works well. However it's not a true kit. Maybe 4 inches is good
It probably will do better than 98% of the vehicles out there. Not everyone has to have a purpose-built "off road" vehicle or has their life revolve around off roading.
name none The Ranger has been available in other countries for quite some time now, it was only brought to the US in 2019. Talk about a janky coil spacer lift...

Flares just make it look aggressive.
But it is a overkill otherwise

You are correct. I put a 3” lift on mine and it looks amazing…6” is way too much and could increase your chances of flipping over…
Rough country suspension? Yeah, no thanks. I would start with a fx4, a few nice options from the start. Then upgrade the suspension differently.
like what? i have an Fx4 Ranger and need some advise thanks

This is the way sales people should be. Great job!
Paul, how tall are you. the truck looks massive, but its hard to know how tall it actually is compared to you without knowing your height. THANKS
I have the 19 lariat, it’s fricken awesome adventure truck, I took out the fx4 and went Icon 2.5
He sounds like Chris Farley and has some of his manurisms.
If you close your eyes chris Farley is selling you a 2020 lifted ford ranger
RC lift kit is kind of junk and their is a major difference between the 4x4 and the FX4....not only skid plates but terrain management and rear locker....
That's the key....the terrain mgt and rear locker!
Give me a fx4 and then I would upgrade the suspension. Rough country, no thanks. Just crap.
100% junk
I have a non FX4 with a locker. It's an option.
As do I. And adding the terrain mgmt, is as easy upgrade you can do yourself.
“ your turbines” your the real deal man.

How much is a 6 inch rough country lift kits like you put on this 2020 ford ranger xlt. With upgraded wheels, tires, shocks, fender flates.
what does that cost for the lift kit and tire and rims
Beautiful truck ! How much does this one go for ? Also what if you want like a 4 inch lift, 6 seems a little high.

I thought you had to have a 20 inch wheel with this 6inch lift. Is it just the factory 18 wheels that won’t work?
how much inches should I lift a ford ranger 2022 to fit a 315/70R17 tire?
How much all the cost of the upgrade..including all, tires, lift kit,mags...etc...thank you

did the rc lift come with the lifted n3 struts ??
Will that lift kit fit two wheel dr models and how much is one ?
Could this be done with a 4" lift instead of 6"? Does RC make that?
