I agree with your view regarding debating this guy if you are going to spend months in preparation then you want to go into it with mutual respect and clearly this is not the case.

David explained that he doesn't feel the need to prepare since its his main area of study, which makes sense. And considering that Steve does not refine or update his arguments, I can understand where David is coming from.

@@dandeliontea7 that nonsense it’s just a rhetoric that David says. I update my arguments all the time as I learn new information. But I include my strongest arguments obviously which get repeated. Why would I not include them when I go on different podcasts that have different audiences that may not have heard them before? It’s a stupid argument made by Szaraz. What? Does he just assume that everybody has heard the same arguments he has?

@@BornAgainRN but what happens when you don't accept correction on the arguments that you are repeating?

@@dandeliontea7 Saying he doesn't need to prepare even though it may his area just comes across as Steve has already criticised. It is important to prepare even if that preparation is solely to fully understand your opponents point of disagreement. It would be more respectful to acknowledge that at least. The other points are ridiculous as Steve has mentioned.

@@dandeliontea7that is the purpose of debates. God will hold people responsible for spreading false information as well as those who blindly follow them without looking into it for themselves.

    NOT or NO MORE ?????
John 2 3 : "And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, "They have "NO" wine"."
Matthew 2 18 : "In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are "NOT"."
Matthew 1 25 : "And knew her "NOT" till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name "Yeshua"."
I wonder how some could go still by their mind about that then ...

It's so weird to see guys make reply videos talking about "living rent-free in your head." Bro, you're making a reply video. It's NPC-level of smack talk. Please stop it, David.

@@lkae4 I agree. It’s an overused and unnecessary phrase and accusation. And most people use other people doing are guilty of it themselves, which brought up examples were David and his colleagues do it themselves.

@@BornAgainRN A lot of these guys are extremely immature, unaware and emotional. They act like they don't have strong fathers. It's a culture that's kind of everywhere. The best thing we can do then is to not sink to their level but act like mature, self-controlled, wise men. Keep it up, brother.

@@DarkHorseCrusader So did I! I’ve been a Steelers fan virtually my whole life, and I joke that I remember when the Steelers only had two Super Bowl wins in the 70s. The next time I make it out to Pittsburgh to see a game, I’ll definitely try to stop by there. Thanks for the tip! 👍

@@Science_explained I know different Lutherans have different views when it comes to water baptism. There are those who believe that even unbaptized babies who die end up in hell. That would be a different gospel. But then there are those who take more of a covenantal theology water baptismal regeneration simply involves a baby being part of the New Testament. But if they die without being baptized, they still go to heaven based on the mercy and love of God. In that case, those who believe in sola fide are saved, because they believe in the gospel. I would simply disagree with them about the purpose of baptism, but I would still call them questions and my brothers and sisters in Christ.
