I have so many relatives and friends who stayed behind in the states, and act like everything is fine while living in debt. I decided that living in a materialistic hyper-workaholic atmosphere wasn’t something that I wanted. “All of our time chasing a dream” But this dream meant nothing for me.
Same with me.. Immigrated to the US as a kid went back to my country for university as universities in the US is too expensive, went back to the US but never felt at home. In mexico now across the border on a working Visa and i’m enjoying my time here more than the US. The American Dream is just not for everyone I guess :)
