So, I had the S23 base model and was planning to trade it for an S23 Ultra because there were few upgrades, and the AI features will eventually arrive for the S23 series. However, the trade-in deal for the S24 Ultra was so much better, and I paid almost half of what I would have for an S23 Ultra, so I got the latest one.
I can't stand when people mention the titanium build. Who cares Samsung and Apple! What about increasing the battery size, charging speeds and substantial upgrades to all cameras. I'm glad for the AI features but they can be installed on any phone.
I upgrade every single year and I can confirm it is not worth the upgrade. With that said, I still do but instead of a trade in, I give my previous phone to my wife, selling her 2 year old phone. I love the phone I have to honest, if you have the S23U, you are not missing much.
So there is no reason to upgrade? I have been reading some mixed takes from s23 Ultra users who upgraded to the s24 Ultra that there is no to little difference with day to day.
They're both great phones I will say I like the flat display and it's a little more smoother than the 23 ultra and I like the always on display that's like iPhones but other than that I will say their both phone of the year and my opinion
Some people just get very excited about having the current latest flagship phone, and I would never call anyone for upgrading from 23U to 24U. I am delighted with how my 23U has performed over the last year however, so I will be looking to the S25U and it's monstrous 8Gen4 chipset which is already outperforming the 8Gen3 by an incredible 50% in early benchmark tests.
If I had followed your advice, I would have used the iPhone 3, because iPhone has been selling us the same phone for 10 years 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I second this statement. my man.
Agree! I'm fine with aluminum. I would be more than happy if they use brushed aluminum
Aluminium causes phone to heat less and actually is less likely to get internal components damaged if it drops with a good case, since it's lighter.
You forgot to mention the 256gb model has 8gb of ram which is why it was cheaper.
