so many different rtts care to share why this one? i could not make up my mind on one so any help would be great. also how is the wind noise and any great change in mpg?
It was the lowest profile hard shell for the best price. Really not a huge deal in terms of wind noise because the GX is so well insulated. MPG takes a hit for sure though. Probably 1-2 on the highway
Have you experienced any bolts loosening ? Any side to side flexing and wiggling in the front portion over the sun roof ? I've had mine for about a year (steel side rails). Started noticing the front wiggles when it's loaded if you're bouncing around at the beach.
Nope, haven’t noticed anything like that. I’d just take those bolts out, use some loctite and put them back in. It also could be the rubber spacers that the feet sit on disintegrating if you re-used the factory rubber
Nope you should be good to go with the LFD bars. I just wanted the modularity to mount stuff to the rack system. If you’re in so cal I can sell mine to you
1. The prinsu is pretty common and in wanted to try something different 2. The price was lower 3. They’re a local shop and I do what I can to support locals 4. I think it looks better
@@lexus_offroad_adventures that’s fair on all point except the cost. The JW is more expensive and charges higher shipping than Prinsu. Maybe that doesn’t apply if you can pick up locally, but if you have to ship it (at least to Vegas) it’s more expensive.
I have a stock GX at home as well so I will measure when I get back. My guess is that it’s not taller, it just extends across the whole roof so it might look bigger
Hi Do you need some great lighting for your car to help you better driving, off-road. We're the pro auto lighting manufacturer for nearly 20 year and we're looking for sponsorship!
What a terrible mount design. Cylinder spacers to spread load across the mount point on the roof? Little rubber washers that will compress, crack, and be useless in a year and require using a glob of silicone? Wow... all for $1,000.
To be fair, 1) it’s held up well for over a year with a 220lb tent on top through many miles of harsh terrain without the potential issues you described and 2) it was in the $700s when I bought it That said, if I could do it differently, I’d get a ProSpeed rack
Best rack in the market JW Offroad . . .
I really like my full roof rack! I went with Sherpa quandary!
Nice, I’ve heard good things about that one as well!

THIS is a knife!
🤣
We’re the Lfd bars that unsafe? Looking at them with 49” odyssey for trying to avoid buying a rack just to cover it with an RTT.

Nice vídeo.
Whats your front bumper?
Thanks
Hi! It’s the Demello Off-Road ‘Stealth’ bumper. Best looking one out there imo. I still LOVE the way it looks after having it on there over a year.
🥇 sweet
How you mount the tent to the rack
So why the JW over the Prinsu?
