I’ve taken this advice without even seeing you say it. Broke my ankle last July right after redbud. Was back on the gate 3 weeks later (too soon I’m sure) and first lap of practice got cut off by a lower class rider in a rut. Needless to say I ran into his back tire and went over the bars and got ran over by the guy behind me. Ended up breaking my ankle again and my wrist. The guy also ran over my bike and destroyed the entire rear end. I just got all the parts installed and will be back on the track next weekend but not going to race until 2025. So I will definitely take advantage of my time and effectively train so hopefully I don’t suffer the same fate next season lol
