  • hey guys in today's video tutorial I'm going to show you how you can design a simple bench vice with each and every part and components separately and after that I will show you how to assemble every part with proper alignment using fusion 360.
hope you guys will like this video, do comment any queries, also subscribe to my channel for future updates.

A vise (American English) or vice (British English) is a mechanical apparatus used to secure an object to allow work to be performed on it. Vises have two parallel jaws, one fixed and the other movable, threaded in and out by a screw and lever.

Killer tunes. I notice during the end demo that the threading does not "work;" when the handle is spun it just rotates without closing/opening the vise. Why is this?

Do I have to create all the parts in one file to be tightened(Assembly)? - Made by traslation

Fusion 360 has common workspace for assembly and modelling .
just keep in mind that for assembly you need to create separate components not bodies.

Hey, great tutorial, but how do you stop the Vice Jaw going through the end of the base when you slid it up and down?

for some reason when i extrude that hole on the side of the jaw screw it creates a body and not an actual hole

You have to select operation as cut instead of body
