I'm no good with cups and quarts. I use a full 750 m bottle of alcohol everclear and make about a gallon or 2 with it so if I want to make a lemonade moonshine how much woukd I need to use like water sugar and the juice so I can use a 750 mil everclear alcohol 🍸
I have quite a few male cousins and it will be great for Xmas gifts as you said how many lemons do you think I'll need to double the recipe and BTW I'm in Nashville
+Gary Sweatt I would use 4-5 cups of lemon juice based on how tart you like it. Use the bottled lemon juice for this amount and then maybe but 2-3 lemon slices in each jar. Keep me posted!
A bottle of everclear like the one you have there would run me about 80 dollars if I bought it legally her where I live! It’s insanely expensive. Thank god for good friends!! That’s all I’m gonna say 🤙🏻
@@the_Mike_McCoy Norway! Where the air is free but the rest is redonkelus expensive. My boss said "2 dollars for 1 liter of gas and if you wanna get drunk you better walk your ass to the nearest booze place and that would take you about 4 hours to get to!”
17lbs sugar 5 gallons of filtered was heat up to dissolve sugar then left cool yo room temp por into gallon carboy bottle pour in Alcohol yeast pit breather tube in let it sit for 10 days plus. It will look milky siphon into another bottle leave year in first bottle as you don't need it pour in cleaning agent wait couple days and you have your sugar alcohol its about 140 proof ready to use to make your shine drinks. That's 5 gallons of Alcohol
you absolutely can! don't ask me how I know lol. I didn't need to change anything. One other tip that came from a viewer is to make sure and not get any lemon seeds in the mix if you add lemon slices. It makes it bitter.
@@goddess3274 great question. I didn’t find it to be bitter at all. I will admit that I like things on the tart side, so I felt this cut some of the sweetness. I recently made a batch without the slices and it seemed sweeter for sure.
Could I use vodka and if so how much heat in Minn.we do not have ever clear.
Thank You
Going to give it a try. My apple pie is already a hit with my coworkers
Owww... I'm definitely trying this. It looks simple and delicious.
+Angelena Robinson oh it is! Be careful though it can creep up in ya! Lol
Hey Brother moonshineer! Liked your recipe and tweaked it a bit with Deep Eddy lemonade vodka for a bigger batch. Thanks for the inspiration 🇺🇸 🌝
Wow- love the idea to use lemonade vodka!!! Guess I need to head to the store today and pick some up! ENJOY!
What would we do without inspiration barb! :)
Love this! Will make and add some strawberry extract! That should be good!
OMG! That’s an amazing idea! Let us know how it is!!!!
Awesome video! How long is it good for refrigerated?
OUT THE TRUNK OF BOBBY'S CAR... 😂🤣😂 GREAT VIDEO
I just made this recipe last Sat. I have in in mason jars in my fridge. How long should I have it sit.
it's ready! I's time to party
How many paints did u get from that batch?
I definitely gonna try it ,perfect video 👍
Do u have to put the slice of lemon in it? Will there be any difference in the flavor?
you don't. In fact if you aren't going to drink it relatively soon, I'd probably not do it. You won't notice a change in flavor
Can I use 80 proof vodka and how many cups if I don't have Everclear
Looks Delicious! Does it have to be refrigerated?
I do recommend that for sure. In fact I’ve kept it in the freezer before to keep it extra cold!

Do you have a recipe for blueberry lemonade moonshine?
Funny you mention that! I’m trying to perfect one now and it will have this recipe as a base
Recipe looks awesome. Do you use fresh squeezed lemon juice or store bought stuff?
I used store bought for simplicity sake, but I bet fresh would be even better!
What proof would you say the lemonade is?

Holy crap! $80!!!! Where are you located?

Just curious how much for a gallon of street moonshine
Depends on how good your friends are, but a gallon would run 80 - 120
How many pint jars did that fill?
You should get right around 3
You’ll get right around 3 quarts
How many quarts did you get with 6 cups water recipe?
I was able to get right at 3 quarts
@@the_Mike_McCoy I doubled it and got about 7. Added a little more than double the water.
Hey brother....can I do this with 98 proof moonshine? I imagine so but would you change recipe??

@@the_Mike_McCoy Thanks man!!
Everclear is prohibited in my state (Ohio) so I’m going to try this on my next vacay.
Hell yeah! I’m getting ready to post up a sweet tea moonshine recipe you can take on vacay as well!
Actually I just bought a bottle and I'm in Columbus. It's 151 proof/75.5% alcohol. I'm gonna make it, and let sit untill Saturday 👍👍
Fantabulous! Now that's worth sharing at your favorite family reunion :)
Using a Alcohol Dilution Calculator, I come up with a final % vol of around 24.
Thanks for sharing, excellent taste!!!
Next one I'll be making.
I'm late to find this video but if you put lemon slices in, make sure there are no seeds. They may make it bitter.
Wow, that’s a great tip! I never new the seeds would make it bitter!!! Thank you
@@the_Mike_McCoy was it bitter with the sliced lemons in the jar? Also have you ever made a strawberry version?
