Good job Brandon. Its nice to see you are mechanically inclined. It baffles me how many people I see in lawn care that are not. Don't know how they are making it. Just think if you become a big youtuber mulch mate might give you one for free like some other channels lol. I'll keep watching and liking to help you grow. Take care and have a good weekend you guys!
Thanks so much lawn boy! I have noticed many lawn care channels just drop the mower off at the dealer when something breaks. That’s a good way to go broke! You will never see any of my machines at the dealer unless something is under warranty. If for some reason we get big I’d love to get a free mulch mate but to be honest with you, we probably wouldn’t use it lol. Thanks for the great comment
@@berndtslawncare4906 one big thing id always have done at dealer is hydro fluid change, since it’s not just as simple as drain and fill and I’m not equipped as a solo operator to do it. I’ll gladly pay $180 in labor vs risk cratering my hydros or wheel motors. But for the most part I agree almost 99% can be done in house.
@@berndtslawncare4906There’s some truth to this, but if you go broke from having machines serviced at the dealer then you’re not charging enough for your services either.
Excellent job....did the same with a spreader years ago...didn't do as good a job as you but it lasted a few years....now you got me thinking about a cart, which i can really use...must be in the DNA!
Hey, great mod, planning on doing something similar on my John Deere stander. Do you keep it mounted when going on or off your trailer? Didn’t know if it would ‘buckle’ going up or down a ramp.
Looks great! maybe a locking mechanism for the bed? I know somebody is gonna hit a big bump or idk I'm sure there's a situation where someone dumps that thing by accident. I also think if I build one I'll try to custom fabricate the wheel mounts to fit bigger front caster wheels like the ones on the mower. Again, I'm sure those are just fine but I'd like to have some beefier wheels for bumps, curbs, rocks and stuff like that. I didn't know the mulch mates were 2k. That's insane. Great job!
Thanks for the awesome comment. Yea the mulch mates are $2000 and up. They are nice but that’s insane. I only use my cart setup on difficult properties with large inclines. Best $200 I ever spent. Thanks for the comment!
Nice work. I considered doing something like that on one of my walkbehinds or my rider. Say you're going up the bottom of a steep hill or driveway, will the back of that bucket touch the muffler guard?
VERY NICE!! Wicked cool idea! Copyright and patent it! I have some ideas kickin' around my noggin that I KNOW would make some $$$!! Best of luck to you. God bless.
And you can add extra sides panels to increase capacity of the cart. Great project you built!
Awesome engineering 👏🏻👊🏻

Could you provide the links where you got all the material please. I definitely would like to build this.
Great idea brother. them gorilla carts are awesome.👍🏻🇺🇸

Haha yep! Using the cart at a mulch job as we speak. Working great
I love your channel you remind me of myself always looking to make things work and make it easier. Keep up the good work.
thanks mike! Appreciate you tuning in!
Great build. How's the cart working out for you with it being close to the muffler?
It's good

Yes I do

Genius! I like this idea a lot, for me I’m probably going to use an old wheel barrow, I have one that’s got the frame cracked.
That's a great idea!

No it does not. It just clears it
Nice job. It looks like you can actually put sides on the wheelbarrow and double your volume. Less trips, more money!
Thanks Ed, yes I can add sides but honestly it works just fine without it
Great idea!
Thanks!
Thanks for sharing! Makes me want to save some dollas
Cool dumper cart mod.
Thanks
The title is tantalizing… Who doesn’t love savings.
That’s right! Works great too!
Hell yeah great video! Thanks for the advice
Thanks for tuning in!
