Amazing event, amazing crew and amazing products! Thank you MulchMate and thank you for coming down Brian! We are so happy to be part of this community!
Ive been waiting for a trailer like this to be born. We had our leaf loader mounted to a carrier that slid into our plow frame and works awesome but next season going with a dump trailer for leaves so we can have a leaf set up and not worry about if we need to remove the leaf box to put a salt spreader in then take the spreader back out for a week to do more clean ups. The pain with just a regular dump trailer is nowhere to put equipment so now you're taking 2 trucks and 2 trailers, leaf set up and one for equipment. Thanks for the info!
Dude, for an operation my size that Kart Mate RS is a Win/Win!! $1K is a very fair price for it!! If I legit was looking to expand that would be one of my first investments. And the dump trailer with all the options is freakin Dope!! Hoping all is well Bud, Dirty Jersey out!! #broinlawns!!
The combination dump, cool concept not as versatile as others tho. PA international makes a 8x18 hybrid dump. 10ft dump bed, 8ft deck space. Middle part is removable for intentions of hauling full sized equipment.
Honestly the mulch mate cart on the mowers are sorta fluff. Now that dump trailer yesuh........ awesome looking design regardless if your doing mulch jobs.
maybe if the higher end one is hydraulic but how can you justify that price on something so simple to manufacture and design, Id sooner build one in my shop and just use the idea or buy 2-3 electric wheelbarrows. also who the hell would spend that much money on the cart and crane in place of buying a mini skid steer, 16k is also a tad high considering a big tex with same body is 7k even in NY, only difference is the space for one zero turn and the electric jack
I’m with you man, these prices are a bit unrealistic when the products really only do one specific job, and by time you go pulling that trailer that weighs 6,000lbs empty (just a guess) you will be needing a dually and a cdl... or atleast where I live. If you take the money and spend it on a dump truck you would be much more versatile
I see where you're coming from but honestly, a good dump truck is $65K. Not everyone can afford that, and a good dump trailer that can be used all season and bring a mower or bagger along? That's huge.
@@BriansLawnMaintenance c’mon you could pick up a solid used 550 dump 6.7 diesel for half that Brian...if your talking new than yeah sure 65k, but you will be spending that if not more on a dually pickup in order to haul that trailer and then you still have the trailer to pay for... never mind you put 3 yards of material in the trailer and puts you at needing a cdl B just to tow behind a commercial vehicle
I would be concerned about hauling all that extra weight. Has anyone asked these dealers what affects this may have on the engines of their lawn mowers? I don’t know of any mower that comes with a tow package. Not trying to be smart....honest question. I use my stand on to haul bags of mulch around and drag heavy tarps. I’ve always wondered what I might be doing to the engine.
@@mulchmate please keep us updated on the safety of this trailer. I have wanted a combo for years, every trailer dealer I talk to will not sell one because of the distribution problem

I wondering how the heck are you going to get all the way in the back of the beds that are full of shrubs and flowers 🤔. This is something that i will definitely never buy it. 1k? Not wort it at all. I think a little trailer from home depot for 120$ is 10 times better
They are just too overpriced. I could personally build this for under $200 in material. Even if you brought this idea to a professional fabricator you would probably be looking at under $1,000 plus receive a higher quality product. Cool idea, but $400 overpriced
Possibly but I don't think anyone is going to make one for $400, and stay in business long term with such a niche product. $999 is incredible when you realize how much extra productive it can make you and your team, imo
@@BriansLawnMaintenance no doubt it’s going to increase production, it just looks flimsy for $1,000. Owner operator, or a small business this is great. Get this in the hands of employees who don’t give a crap, I wouldn’t give it more than a month before the frame is bent. Also, what happens the first time you slide that front wheel into a small divot in the lawn? I’d like to see a demo of that. Side note: I said $400 over priced as in I believe it’s worth $600. ($1,000-$400).
You're probably adding 600-800 on the tongue, nothing crazy. Any 5th wheel or two behind camper puts 400-800lbs easily. I think this will work just fine.
@@BriansLawnMaintenance hydraulic failure or activation by another person while someone is accessing the under bed tray is dangerous. Go look at a dump truck warning stickers about accessing under the bed. There’s lock outs and warnings all over. Just because everyone is doing it doesn’t mean you’re not opening yourself up to liability. Otherwise great product.
problem I see is that you spend all this money then you can only put mulch where you can get the lawn mower cart. What about beds full of bushes or hillsides. Or mulch areas above a wall where you can't get a wheel barrow or lawnmower. or when the yard is soaking wet from rain . Or the myriad of other obstacles you face in landscaping. This is a very inefficient way to apply mulch. You need a mulch blower with a hose that can go into any mulch situation if you want to be in the upper level of professional mulching. they are neat toys tho and would be fun to play with but are not practical for a pro. I been using a mulch blower for 10 years and selling it to buy this setup would put me backwards. I should delete my own comment because its actually in my own best interest that my competitor buys this and competes agains't me and my mulch blower because I will run circles around him.

The trailer needs a rack for leaf blower, weed wacker, gas cans stuff like that might be do able above the control box.
Coming soon. We ran out of time to get all that together. If you see the rails around the platform thats where you would mount them. Good call sir!!

Can a mini skid steer fit on the trailer ?
If you have a 32in zero turn, that can work to drive thu a 36in backyard door.

All depends on the options and package you go with
When the price point comes down about 7-10k I would entertain the idea of buying one potentially, but over $45,000 for this is too much for my taste.
