- Mulch mate contacted me and said they had a revolutionary mulch delivery machine. He said it was super fast & better than anything out there....I had doubts. It didn't look like anything special. Out of sheer coincidence I was driving right past there shop on my way to the airport in Maryland. So I surprised them and stopped by. They had no clue I was coming. This is what I seen and it blew me away.

That thing is amazing man.
Thank you sir
Are you willing to buy it Keith?
Keith Kalfas so amazing it’s stealing jobs from people
i know this is a old video But i Just Stumbled across it & It Looks Really Cool ! An Almost be fun to run all day..lol. The Best Advice i have Ever Heard Was THREE TYPES OF PEOPLE TO STAY AWAY FROM.... THE UNEXCITED, THE UNGRATEFUL, & THE UNINSPIRED ,Unpassionate An I Gota Say This Dude Had The Excitement & Passion ..Love To See That in people ! !
Mulch mate ftw. Can’t wait to see this thing in person at GIE
Brian, Look up Mulch Mule. The owner of Enviroscapes in Louisville, OH makes that product. If I remember, it's under Green industry Innovations.
6.3ft 335lbs with 9" hands.. I feel like I can confidently say I know more about this man from this video than than I know about myself..
Hahahaha
Damn that thing is convenient man. Awesome video!
Thank you and thanks for watching
I have no idea how I got here. I work in sales, not landscaping. But that seems to be a damn good product and piece of equipment, and it was presented better on an phone video than half the product videos I need to watch from major manufacturers for my job
Thanks very much
Glad you liked the video, thanks
Can't believe how cool this is! I just started a landscaping company & with so much competition, This is exactly what I need to take my company too the next level!
We believe in you. The hard work will pay off
That thing is brilliant! Wow
And that Linde forklift at 4:57 is a dream to operate, but with a big price tag tho!
It’s basically a forage wagon made into a tailgate.
Damn! You're all over the place. We're down here on the shore, salisbury, MD, and im glad for your smartass "im in maryland what do you expect" comment. We're gonna go check these guys out before the next season now lol.
That combined with power wheelbarrows would destroy
Power wheel barrels would be way slower
We would love to test that out
@@trumpit9174 Not a chance they would be slower
@@trumpit9174 maybe with mulch because its so light. Rock would be faster
Hey what About the trucks that hose mulch like water ?
This Machine is Badass! Cant wait to see it in person at GIE
And once again a great video good job Stan 👍 👍
This is a game changer! Thanks for sharing this video!
Gotchu 👍
Very cool innovations! I’m having a hard time justifying 60k for the unit though. I can fill a wheel barrow with 5 scoops using my long handled snow shovel quick. Now rock is a different story.
26k is our show price. Retail is 29k
Mulch Mate Thanks for the response! That’s much more reasonable then I thought. I did a Google search and must be looking at a different unit or the blower.
@@PeteKanarisGreenDreamsFL no problem. I think yi our right. The blowers are 60k to 150k plus.
one of these and the truck to use it on as well? and prob still up 10k lols
I have something designed for the little guy but still working on fabricating the prototype. I took 2-3 pieces of different equipment and put them together. Something to scoop, dump, spread, roll, and grade. I could see it mass produced in the $3500-$5000 range. Like a mini it wouldnt do any one task great but would be able to do multiple task and affordable. It couldnt compete with this on volume but you wouldnt have to push a wheelbarrow.
That guy is so enthusiastic, I hope he sells tons of them,,,,
Awesome video Stanley keep them coming
Thanks James ! Glad you like the videos.
That’s awesome equipment !!! My company isn’t large enough to make a purchase like that . Old scoop shovel will have to do .
Awesome video and Stan always asks the right questions. Looking forward to checking this out at GIE! See you there!!
Thanks Michael! Happy you like the videos
I live in Maryland, don’t be disrespecting our accent lmao. Looks like an amazing machine and like you said the attention to detail is outstanding.
That's one hell of a machine. The amount of time, effort, and money saved seems phenomenal. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the feedback Michael and thanks for watching !
Thanks for the kind words Michael
After shoveling and shoveling truck after truck I'm impressed
Such hard work and such a superb product! Let's support the small businessman in America!
Thank you so much for the kind words!!!!
That's one awesome set up..
Seriously impressive! Great product, great team! Go get'em at GIE!!
😀👍
Wow! That thing is incredible!
👍
The is so amazing. Would love to get one in New Zealand.
It's always great to learn new things.
Agreed 👍
I saw one today while I was out mowing, very cool.
Wow! Look at that thing go. Talking about cutting you’re time in half. Great product, can’t wait to see mulch mate out here putting some work in. Topping it off with American Made!!!!
Thank you
Did something almost the same as this unit except we had a forage box on a Freightliner tandem axle chassis with approximately 20 yards of mulch ...cut handling in half! Definitely a superior design but same concept
this thing looks great
This is an amazing machine!!
👍
Major Game changer for large companies.
Wicked love this concept less hassle shoveling it in to the wheelbarrow
Thank you Jim
Anyone see the trucks that blow the mulch onto beds ? This is slick however the blowing is def labor saving n effective. Great video.
WE NEED THIS!!!!
That is cool. Almost makes mulch fun I bet, keeps the guys from being frustrated with the most annoying part of mulch which is loading the wheelbarrow.
Exactly!!
That’s just a smaller forage wagon- very common in farming. Used to haul chopped hay/corn to the silo and the augers unload it
fantastic product!
Thank you
Wow. Well my dreams have been crushed. Ive been working on this exact product for the last 3 months and these guys beat me to it. Im gonna reach out to them. Ive got some impovements for then.
We would love to hear your ideas
Well damn that thing's downright impressive
That is a great looking product
Thank you
That thing kicks ass!!
Thank you
Stan when is the second part of the tiltrotator video coming. Very interested in more of your thoughts as I am getting 1 fitted on a 6 ton Takeuchi and my main concern is will it be durable enough to stand up to the day to day rigors of site work.
They've put this on a trailer which makes sense, because the truck isn't tied up. And now they've developed bin setups to distribute with ride-on mowers. Good ideas!
I’m Florida we have trucks that haul the mulch and have a big hose that sprays it out.
now for the million-dollar question. Is it manufactured and made in America?
Yes, it is.
Sure is in Baltimore, Maryland
Mulch Mate that's awesome to hear. American company making products in America! 👌👍
@@mulchmate right down the street from 98 rock
@@SenorAhole yup
Excellent idea.
Thank you !
Thank you
There is a company around Louisville Ohio called envroscapes. They have made a machine called a mulch mule for blowing mulch. Pretty badass system
Very very impressive
This is a game changer!
Amazing!! your productivity goes threw the roof. Instead of 1 or 2 mulch jobs a day you can double them. Depending on the size.
Thanks Chuck!
Thanks brother
Pretty amazing. Some people will bitch about paying $60K but it is a commercial unit. Funny how they won't bitch about paying that for a pickup with a few options. If I was in the business of moving mulch or landscaping, I would buy one. The big guy is an excellent salesman.
Wow, that is fast
I like the mulch mate set up I wonder do they do a small lift conveyer to fill taller setups like the toro mulch force that us higher up and it doesn't look like it will fit underneath!!
I think there are smaller options out there that probably make more sense for most people. But I bet big companies would love this. And it seems amazingly well built. I wonder if they will make a smaller one for 1500/2500 trucks. Harbor freight makes some sort of tarp loading system that I have seen mixed reviews on plus its a hand crank lol.
stay tuned
Hey do you have any tips for preparing your snow equipment for winter
Awesome 👍
I use to work for a City that we did about 2000 yds of mulch every spring. I wish we had one of those. I might not have screwed up my back so bad already.
Awesome machine
Thank you so much
There’s a ton of convertable conveyor belts that could easily give you another 12-20ft to land mulch exactly where you need it.
In the works
Just like a slinger .
Makes your job a lot more easy
Hey I just wanted to recommend a mower brand to you there high end but there great and there’s lots of attachments it’s called grasshopper.
I'm sold!
Its really cool 😎
Looks amazing, and VERY expensive.
Ya Maryland!!
Wow I want one
What is the name of the song that you used for the background music love the video though
Most Excellent 😎
They should have a sling out treadmill type apparatus. That is stored under the back end.....then swings around to the passenger side. Plug it in then you have an extra , what 6 feet or more. If your not about to get it where you want it a remote on the end that's an easy 6ft or so your guys don't have to walk or if what what ever reason you want it to go over a retaining wall or something.
love it
Considering, the amount of time it would take to use a lil 453 or S70 to spread this(closest comparison I can make as far as capacity on unit vs wheel barrow)...I'd say this is pretty quick...but,then it also boils down to employee costs,vs equipment costs...or what kind of time frame is allotted to complete the job(if it's not under a tight time frame, then goin with a skid and one other employee to spread...If it is an under the gun project,it sometimes is more cost effective for the cost of the extra employees,to get it done and on to the next gig)....Lots of variables and pros and cons in this situation, but definitely a cool unit..not sure about the price tag,but it'd be great for tree guys,if they chip into the bed with a chipper and have the capability of fluffing, separating and spreading all in one shot.. pretty cool stuff man...great vid as always👍
You just made this man a millionaire
Need a wheel barrow drone attachment next.
One safety issue I can see immediately. Guy has to stand in the bed and pull that tarp out with those rollers of death spinning. A way to disengage those when pulling out the tarp would definitely be a must
We have addressed that very issue. Thank you for looking out.
Mulch Mate thank you for your reply. That's amazing to hear that it's even better than demonstrated here. Was that a feature on this prototype? Does it automatically disengage when reversing the tarp in the production model?
@@alarmingtwitch7822 it's a mechanical release that disengages automatically when you reverse the system.
Now that's cool
Curious If you were at the wright factory as well?
Looks very impressive, longevity is going to be the key here. Price even a ball park was not mentioned. Warranty is going to be key for many spending money on this good idea. I'm not in this business but the all seeing eyes know I have so many landscapers in my area it would make your head spin. Northern Illinois, much more detailed information left out. Could I go to their website yes but I was looking for the information here as that is where I find it. Nice show but it's needing more attention here.
3 year warranty and everything has been FEA tested and we have run thousands of yards through this machine in the past year
Wow game changer big time b
In la they literally have a trailer with a hose and can lay down whole acres of mulch at once lol
yeah its a mulch blower. They been around forever. Doesnt work with other materials
This only solves the problem of loading it into wheelbarrels. You still have to solve the problem of getting it into the actual beds themselves efficiently. Better than doing it by hand
Check out Kart Mate on our website www.mulchmateusa.com
Nice piece of kit. Conveyor belt doesn't wear out? and if so, how much $ to replace it. Love that the model # is named after a dog; hopefully a real dog - not a fear biter. Again, nice piece of kit!!
Both were real dogs. Board collie's
Conveyor has a spring system that gives allowing the belt to last for many seasons
You sure the guys from Ventrac didn't help design that lol? They are completely different machines but the designers are passionate about making the best out there. Definitely a cool product
Impressive
He should weld on fork slots under the back rear section for easy removal when needed. That way it won’t slide off the forks, and easier to slide forks under it when you put it back on.
Thanks for the input, Chris. The bottom of the machine is totally flat and the ladder in the center is what keeps it from sliding side to side. Nick
I see. I was thinking more of on an incline or hitting a bump and it comes off balance or or top heavy. But that thing is awesome! Great job!
@@Prorex1911 thanks so much
This would depend on the terrain and buildings in the area that the mulch is bring laid.
Impressive...👍
Thank you
A landscaper out in Louisville,OH (Todd's Enviroscapes ) has another business that makes a product called "Mulch Mule"
I was completely blown away and I LOVE this thing... However, we would only use it for residential mulch jobs and it looks like it will be a little pricey to replace one guy with one $30 pitch fork. Besides, we can back the truck up a driveway, drop whichever side/gate and have access to 15 yards from all 3 sides of the truck, not just the one corner. On our tight space residential jobs that requires precise wheelbarrows, access and precision is more important than volume and the bottleneck is rarely at the truck for us. This is truly an awesome product though and I love it for rock/dirt/other stuff so I hope they sell a ton of these.
Thank you for the kind words. We did a 10 yard test with one of the biggest landscape companies in the world and said the same things you said unit they saw it. It spend their entire crew up by 70% they said and they used 30% less mulch. They were very happy.
Who cares if you only have access to one corner. That one corner shoots the material right into your wheelbarrow there's no need for multiple access points.
They need to make a stand on the back so you can drive slowly and operate it
Pros knew to turn it down before the warning...
I'll run my system against the mulch mate system anytime, compact loader & dump truck scooping right out of dump truck and transporting to dump spots against the mulch mate machine, 1 guy operating loader can transport the same amount of 4 guys can with wheelbarrows, benefit - no pay out of pocket for wages for 4 employees pushing wheelbarrow. Been using this system longer than much mate has been in business and its super quick...
With that chute you could dump directly into parking lot islands
that is a very good 👍video
Glad you like it, thanks Eric
How does that power wheelbarrow work in the rain? Never got an answer....
That's a game changer
I think I'm going to be seeing a lot of these around.
We hope so 😁😁👌
I doubt it
Was that Ed Wright? at the end with the backup cam
Sure was. Great guy. Super knowledgeable
