my bluebook score is now around 1500 and I desperately need 1550+!! but still i’m grateful for the progress since I’m an international student and non-native eng speaker
I took a practice test in the beginning of summer and i scored in the 1000s (1080 and 1020) with zero studying and zero previous experience regarding the SATs. Im taking the august DSAT and i plan on taking it only once. Since there is a limited number of tests for me to take, Im currently putting practice tests off till the last 3-4 weeks. Im studying the material provided my khan academy, and my goal is above 1400. What do u think about khan academy and do you have nay recommendations on what else i should be doing.
first.. you got this. start using collegeboard's sat question bank, filter to the areas you need to work on and keep working through practice questions to familiarize yourself with the SAT's content. if and when you get stuck on a question, screenshot the question and paste it into the "sat help chat" in the scholar's circle discord community (it helps!!) goodluck, i hope that helped. lmk if you have any other questions or need the links to resources i just mentioned, bless

Hi, I’m a rising sophomore and I plan to take the SAT and PSAT. I’ve been studying SAT (yes because PSAT is an easier test and similar structures) and on average I get like mid-high 700 on math and mid 500s on reading. Do you have any ways to improve on the reading and writing section other than reading everyday? I also have double time too 😂
SAMEEEEE (similar) I got a 1060 and want 1500+ so bad agh. But I didn’t answer a lot of questions so I think these tips should help! - Time urself, pace urself and answer quickly and efficiently! - Khan academy prep, Princeton review, Bluebook practice tests every other Sunday is what Im doing and then studying at least 3 hrs daily - PRACTICE! (Khan academy, workbooks, youtube vid follow alongs, or the question bank) - Identify where the issues are. For me, I am great with algebra but worse with geometry. When it comes to reading, writing, and math, which areas are u bad with? -READ REGULARLY. The New York Times is great, I also suggest classic literature books (Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, Little Women, Frankenstein, The Picture of Dorian Gray, White Fang) - Learn math, think of it as u need to study
it's all about practice and figuring out what you don't already know and learning it.. sounds like a lot but your future self WILL thank you. you got this
@@BillieLovesYou no worries, try collegeboard's sat question bank to help yourself become more familiar with the question types. don't give up just yet
ofc :) for saving time.. i recommend focusing directly on the question itself (see what it's asking) and then target key information in the passage itself (focus on what you need to find in the passage to answer the question)

honestly.. if youre strategic and know what you need to learn/work on to get to your target score, it's definitely doable. don't underestimate what you can do in a month. if you know realistically that youre not one who will sacrifice the time needed to get to that point.. maybe another story. please dont get discouraged tho, i understand that studying for this thing isnt ideal but it is important and the score will only help you.
