@@Orginal16 I was cooked. I got a 1060. I only studied for 2 or so days, so it makes sense. The sat itself pretty easy I just didn’t have enough time to answer the questions because I didn’t get used the pacing of the SAT. I plan to retake it in June and hopefully get a 1350+.

Hey, great tips. You should make a video covering every problem type that should be done with a demos calculator. Also go through some special functions of the desmos calculator. I studied last summer for the paper sat, got a 1470 when I wanted a 1500, and now I’m taking the March one. I did a practice test on blue book and my brain was used maybe 5 times because all I did was put everything in the desmos calculator. 😂😂
yeah, that's a decent idea, if only I knew how to use the Desmos. If you found any video that taught you that, please tell me about it.
@@jake102_fr use desmos for anything algebra based. Systems of equations, inequalities, mean, median, mode, range, polynomial equations. Basically anything besides geometry.
that's actually my plan for my next video since most test prep resources still aren't telling people when and how to use desmos

I’m taking my digital sat in may and I’ve done one practice test so far and for the math section 2 since it was computer adaptive it was so difficult. This video helped a lot I’ll take the practice test again and hopefully my score improves.

Me watching this right before graduating high school after i already took the act a year ago (i didnt take the sat) and before majoring in mechanical engineering 👁👄👁
Note for self:
35% of it is Basic Algebra, linear equations and equalities
35% of it is Advanced Math, non linear equations, quadratics, exponentials polynomials, rational explanations
15% of it is Problem Solving and Data Analysis, tables statistics and ratios
15% of it is Geo and Trig, circles triangles and angles and trigonometry from geo class not precal

What happened?
06:58 Alternatively, your calculator can solve this for you. A TI-36XPro and -84 Plus CE have a function for solving systems of equations. Desmos will allow graphing without strict form. The intersection is your solution. If I were not a strong math student, I would opt for using a calculator as much as possible to reduce the likelihood of errors. The SAT has turned into a “just pick the right answer” test. You’re no longer penalized for wrong answers.
Very true. I started writing the script for this video last summer when people were still taking paper SATs but on the DSAT you can totally solve systems with desmos (and usually should)

Me watching this on Monday night when the exam is Wednesday morning and I’ve done no studying 😶🌫️ tbf though, I’m already in college and will graduate HS with my associate’s degree so the impact of the SAT feels… minuscule
To be honest, I had no idea the SAT stood for nothing.
It stands for scholastic aptitude testing
Quick google search:
The test was originally called the Scholastic Aptitude Test and later became the Scholastic Assessment Test. The acronym SAT no longer stands for anything but is the actual name of the test
I guarantee that at least 85% of people who got a perfect score don't know either
