I got a bit confused on the meaning of “cha4 caan1 teng1” as I thought you had explained its meaning to be “to have”.
My wife has explained it means “Tea and breakfast shop” 😊

Hi Amanda, are you using both Yale Romanization of Cantonese (耶魯廣東話拼音) and Jyutping (粵拼) mixed together? e.g. Cha4 caan1 teng1... Yale: Cha4 chaan1 teng1; Jyutping: Caa4 caan1 teng1

We can say hai6 if say yes for short and if say no is m4 hai6, right?
