In my opinion, the car keeps going to the left because of "torque steer". This results from the lengths of left and right drive shafts are not equal. Usually, it's the case for transverse front engine, front wheel drive with high torque in the real car. Unfortunately, the software cannot correct this unless you can distribute power between left and right drive wheels.

I doubt a really fast 1/8 size lego car is actually possible. The motor power needed to move that weight would probably be more than the lego components can actually withstand. It would chew through gears and axles needing continual replacements.

Lego needs to make tougher parts and/or more powerful motors that will appeal to older audiences who expect more performance out of their Lego Technic vehicles. I really do think there is a market for this. Also, this vehicle's performance is by far the worst I have ever experienced or seen from a Lego vehicle. EVER
I don't think it's that ugly - I personally just can't get over how SMALL it is! And this set is a wasted opportunity to not make this brand-spanking new motor do more in a small set like this. There isn't even any other manual functions, which is obscene for a $130 car.
the new diff just gave me a box of ideas. like you could put a thin bevel gears inside of just the red 28 tooth gear, or drive the red gear with a worm gear or with double bevel gears but as regular spur gears. I bet a thin 20 tooth bevel gear fits just inside of the red gear on its own
Kids don’t even know how mechanics works... make a set THATS hard that says 16+ on it, make the car go 45 mph put some LiPo batteries or brushless motors. Also you should change up your music a bit it’s a little bit too kuch

I bought for my little nephew
he's so good .............he doesn't need my help
Lego needs to make tougher parts and/or more powerful motors that will appeal to older audiences who expect more performance out of their Lego Technic vehicles. I really do think there is a market for this. Also, this vehicle's performance is by far the worst I have ever experienced or seen from a Lego vehicle. EVER
A buwizz in there would be so much better
I don't think it's that ugly - I personally just can't get over how SMALL it is! And this set is a wasted opportunity to not make this brand-spanking new motor do more in a small set like this. There isn't even any other manual functions, which is obscene for a $130 car.
Some guys are complaining here that this set cost too much and has poor performance hahaha
Wish i could afford one :)
the new diff just gave me a box of ideas.
like you could put a thin bevel gears inside of just the red 28 tooth gear, or drive the red gear with a worm gear or with double bevel gears but as regular spur gears. I bet a thin 20 tooth bevel gear fits just inside of the red gear on its own
Yey its out
Kids don’t even know how mechanics works... make a set THATS hard that says 16+ on it, make the car go 45 mph put some LiPo batteries or brushless motors. Also you should change up your music a bit it’s a little bit too kuch
CN Gaming a kid would have no trouble building this, even 42056 is easy enough. I’m practically a kid myself, 16 years of age, and well even I’m disappointed with this set. LEGO would have to introduce a faster motor for this to hit a faster speed like e.g. the RC Buggy Motors (45 mph would be overkill though XD)
LEGO is never going to make a 45 mph car and I'm sure you'll find that Mute button eventually.
Kru Mic and even if it were possible, axles and gears would suffer damage from high friction, after all plastic has its limits
12:18 Stig only wears white, then turns to wear black😂

Can i have one!... seriously i need it and want it my parents wont get it even tho i saved up
That’s not gone well
*WHEW* glad I saw this before buying one; NOT the best effort by LEGO....
1 star for design? isnt looks so terrible
So the massive price is more than likely due to the licensing and the control+ kit? As the car itself is an absolute joke by the looks.
for 130 you get a smart rally car!
very cheap
No springs in a rally car ffs lego
