Great video, You did a great job on this video. Nice looking fur too. Thanks for sharing your videos with us to watch.
Thank you!
Thank you for making these videos I really enjoy them and I no they are hard work beside the trapping again Thank you.
Great video. Love how it shows the good and the bad. Does feel more like we’re out there with ya. Can’t wait for the next video👍👍
I got a mink once in one of my boxes. Caught a fisher and a mouse out of that same box. Finally got around to using some of your lure today will report back on any catches.
Hey Derik, it's about time, haha! Good luck and hopefully the weather cools down soon!
Nature's bounty in the county ! Looks good !
good to see you out and about, catches should pick up as they get hungry , pretty good goin for them with no snow easy mousing for them
Great job and video. Thank you.
Love your videos ! Just like being on the line with you. Thanks for sharing
Great show dude nice catches, the t-shirts are bad to the bone. Gotta show every part of the trapline.
TIGHT CHAINS.
thanks!
Very cool place to Trap, really remote. Thanks for sharing.
Keep after them buddy. Don't have Marten in Pa. Just Fisher and Bobcat
Awesome video man! My parents owned property in Jackman for years before we had to let it go. I miss driving around on those old logging roads. I wish like hell I could move up there and buy a cabin on some land of my own.
Thank you for sharing. You did a great job videoing it. Always sad to see a sprung trap. I was surprised there where not more tracks for the miles of roads you traveled. If you had seen where a fisher or Martin crossed the road would you place a set there?
a lot of the ground wasn't snow covered or difficult to see tracks in too. If i saw a marten track nowhere near one of my existing sets, yeah I'd set on it. fisher, not so much. they travel a great deal more than marten from what i've seen.
I can remember going to check traps with my grandfather possibly on some of these same roads we are in the same neck of the woods as you
Glad to see you on youtube...........
Very nice line I live in Alberta and every year I trap on average 1 mink 2beaver1 weasel 12skunks and 300 coyotes with my father
dang thats a lot of coyotes in your area..good job
What size body grips do you use for marten
I like them marten box's I have some box's made up need make more
The reality of trapping awesome looking country and looking forward to part 2 bud also i want to buy one of your awesome looking shirts hope you can ship up to Canada ill pay further shipping costs im in Manitoba
Hey Charles, thanks! Send me a message through the store with your address and I'll come up with a shipping quote.
Good video did u make your Martin and Fisher box's and did u make a video on how 2 make them
I like your boxes ! They are more intricate than mine that's for sure. I appreciate you showcasing that we often don't catch something and that is part of trapping. Any beavers in your area! I def love beaver trapping. I can't wait to go check my sets tonight after work.
Hey Jeremiah is all that land owned by timber companies or what??
Yeah, virtually 100% of it is privately owned timberland.
you dont carry a 410 with ya good food and bait right there i have a 42 savage that travels with me
Have you ever experimented with a block of traps farther from the road?
And maby little closer to each other
In the past I have, but it just isn't feasible to haul these big boxes a long distance from the road.
@@larsandersson4394 i have put them closer together in the past, especially when I'm just going to have traps set for a short time period. But you have to cover quite a bit of ground in this area to find a lot of fur, and of course only so many boxes and traps!
I would definitely experiment with distance and spacing. You need to increase the odds of the animals finding your sets. Yes, they are heavy to carry. Almost all trapping is hard work, but also an adventure.
Where do you get your boxes?
I make them
Damn you are the spit of Seth Feroce
Ha ha !!! How do you list a lynx that runs on a cycle like a rabbit ..... Ridiculous ......
Endangered... Until they cross into Canada...
Too many ads, man. Maybe one in the middle i can stand. Theres like 6 or 7 its showing on the bar. I lost interest after 2nd ad.
