This is honestly one of the greatest pieces I have ever listened to in my life, if not the. The first time I ever listened to it changed me as a person. It's so gorgeous.

I've done the same before. It's such an amazing experience eh. It always catches me off guard whenever I think about the reality of what we're listening to. Music on a single instrument that manages to move people in such significant ways and how it can transcend your time period and upbringing.

At 3:34 you really bringed out the melody from the rest of the notes, it was very smooth
3.35 to 4.05 is literally pure heaven, what a amazing interpretation. this is my favourite by Liszt.

One of my favourite Liszt pieces. Beaten only by Hungarian Rhapsodies 2 and 6 and of course La Campanella. Really good playing. Props to you. And still there are people disliking it. I have no idea how people dislike this kind of talent and skill...

Ah, yes, three measures in a piece
Yep. Because this piece utilizes the three hand effect. Which funny enough Liszt originally dismissed as a cheap parlor trick. But then came to use it in his pieces such as this and Mazeppa.
If you think that’s weird check out the rachmaninoff prelude no. 2 .... it’s got four measured

It may be an etude but my goodness this piece is truly beautiful. Just an absolute masterpiece in my opinion. Brilliant, fluid, fluent playing. The sections that were particularly virtuosic were played excellently. Bravo Traum 🙌

One of my favourite pieces of all time, and strangely one of the first classical pieces I listened to and learned. (I didnt realise it was 2nd diploma, and I played quite badly up to like 2:30). The 6 minutes could have been several sunlight days, or even a few seconds - music like this comes with no affect of time.

Maybe it was a piece just not for me.
shame, all that practice is now gone. Maybe It's because I stopped playing it, it's definately NOT a fun piece to play and I think that's why it just faded away from me.

Traum has 3 channels, this Traum Piano channel, Traumian channel where he plays on the Yamaha upright in mostly funnier side while demonstrating his superb techniques. The Traum Radio Channel premiered on April 14 with Beethoven Liszt's Transcription Symphony #8. There are some performances only on the Radio Channel. He really should include the Radio Channel link under all the description page. It's a wonderful channel for listening to his performances.

Why not give it another try? This is truly a gorgeous piece. You must have retained some muscle memory?
Listen to the Radio Channel upload with headphones/ noise cancellation ear buds, you wouldn't want to stop the loop, simply amazing.
