So this is Urdu, it is written in Arabic. The reason why Hindi and Urdu are considered similar or interchangeable is because they originated and are predominantly spoken in the same region of south Asia. The subtle difference is the influence of Persian, Arabic and even some Turkish in the Urdu language as opposed to Hindi being influenced by Sanskrit.
