An enjoyable, informative look at a wonderful city. I should try to get to Gdansk someday soon. Thanks for sharing, I have subscribed to your channel ❤❤
In autumn it is cold in Poland and the proximity of the sea and moisture in the air intensify the cold. As a Pole, I have never eaten pumpkin soup. I would recommend to foreigners red borscht with small dumplings, which foreigners do not know, but it is delicious, healthy and warms you up in such weather.😄
I’ve had it since my husband is from Poland but I just don’t like it haha I’m not a fan of beets. I honestly was quite surprised there were so many pumpkin flavored things in Gdansk but it’s probably since it’s more touristy. We didn’t see much of that in Rzeszow
Awesome video. Gdansk is spectacular. Looks like you two had a great time! While I see your point that about 2 days are sufficient for just walking around the old town of Gdansk, I'd say that Gdansk area needs a minimum of a week to give it justice. There are so many wonderful day trips from Gdansk including Sopot, Gdynia, Hel Peninsula, Malbork Castle, Slowinski National Park shifting dunes. Also, there is so much more to explore in Gdansk (Westerplatte, Gdansk Shipyard/Solidarity, WWII Museum, Artus Court, Oliwa Cathedral and more) Btw, did you see a replica of Daniel Fahrenheit's thermometer in the old town... he was born in Gdansk.
That’s a great point! Definitely more to explore if you take day trips to surrounding areas as well. I actually didn’t see the thermometer replica, I had no idea but that is so cool!!
@@itsmonicavillegas I think many tourists miss it. I missed it on my first trip to Gdansk. I think you can also see the house where he grew up (at least on the outside.) Anyway, happy travels and I hope to see more videos from Poland in the future on your channel... I'm planning a trip to Poland next summer.
Definitely plan on going back many more times since my husband’s family is there. Love Poland in the summer, it’s great! My first time there we actually explored quite a bit (Krakow, Warsaw, Zakopane, Wieliczka, and Oświęcim) and I wish I had my YT channel back then and had recorded it but we’ll certainly be back! It’s a beautiful country with lovely people
@@itsmonicavillegas That's awesome! There is definitely a ton to explore there. I love Polish summers and when the outdoor cafe life is in full swing. Anyway, I look forward to watching your travel vlogs in the future!
Awesome, you’re gonna love it!!! That’s actually a great idea, should’ve done it while I was still there and had all the prices directly from the restaurants we went to but love that suggestion!

I visited Gdansk about 3 years ago and loved it even though the weather was shit. Having a sound system in a hotel room is very unusual.
Oh no! What month/season did you go?
When were you in Gdansk?
Late October
Hello what are the prices like here I'm planning on going in the next month or so ?
Hi! If you’re converting from dollars it will go a long way!! Poland is very, very affordable! An average meal would probably be $7 per person
@@itsmonicavillegas thanks for your reply I’m from the UK so it’s pounds for me that’s seems really cheap tbf do you know the prices of beers ?
A pint can easily go for $1-2 USD
@@itsmonicavillegas thanks, you have helped me a lot I am booking my trip soon I can not wait to get there, you should maybe do a video on prices ect
