This band does so good and to get the chills watching them perform u just gotta be there,they r great..My daughter is in this band and I couldn't be more proud of her.🥰🙏👍
It is awesome!! I got to march 20J (Tuba) this last fall with the Southerners and it’s always such an amazing experience. I remember seeing them there at MidSouth in Gadsden my freshman year of high school and was absolutely BLOWN away by them….quite literally too!
You are correct sir! Other top bands you've never heard of would be North Texas State University and RCC, Riverside Community College in California. JSU would be at the top of any marching band nationwide. Probably my favorite for all the reasons you list.
However if it were a competition, this group would get murdered in marching execution. Very muddy formations and spacing is horrible. But then again it’s tough navigating on a field with 600+ members.
@@ethanharris1508 You are correct, but to Troy’s very little credit they are down a lot of people this year…they normally hover in the 350-400 range, and from the looks of it they look like they’re lower 300s
i wasn’t bashing troy i know they’re a good band i was just disagreeing with mark bc he said they would get destroyed in a competition when southerners are better
Absolutely amazing performance and as another person mentioned, seeing it in person was even more amazing. Best $10 I think I have ever spent. AGT should showcase this group because they are truly more spectacular than 90% of performances that make it to their final rounds. Just wish the resolution of the video was better. It's really horrible. Like something that was taped in the 80's.

This University's marching band Shirley is in the top 1% Nationwide. Awesome sound, incredible visuals, complexity of Music phenomenal!

Troy is a good band. It’s not a competition. It’s entertainment.
