Bicycling Minnesota's Mesabi Trail Day 3, Hibbing to Kinney (June 10, 2023)

Ever since I started creating RUclips videos I have wanted to return to the Mesabi Trail. I consider this to be the crown jewel of our many wonderful bicycle trails in Minnesota. Our third day of five days of riding was the section of trail from Hibbing to just outside Kinney. We also took the spur to the Mine Discovery Center area in Chisholm which was work the 4 extra miles. We had colder weather and cloudy skies for this ride but it was still beautiful and peaceful. This section of the Mesabi is one of the older sections and in parts, it could use some repair work in the near future. I think their focus on getting the trail completed and fixing the section out of Tower is the right choice and I believe they will start redoing sections in the near future. The trail is still very ridable.
