Everytime I watch Larry's videos, I'm motivated to do my weekly wash. Thanks Larry!
Yeah same! Usually I shower once every month but his videos inspire me
Same here !!
Yes! This. ^ Very motivational. And I LOVE the Roma to boot.
@@RayTheFPSGamer 😂🤣🤣
@@RayTheFPSGamer gotta do it for that waterbill.
The feeling a car guy experiences when he gets into a bad ass car is something I wish everyone could feel. The tingles, the hair on ur arms standing up, the butterflies in ur stomach. It makes any mundane trip an exhilarating experience.
I think it's remarkable how all these pads and different products can
make on a car's surface. I for one, don't understand half of what Larry
is explaining but the result is always mindblowing.
British Racing Green is beautiful on this car. Especially with the yellow accents 👌🏼
Amazing job on an amazing car 💚 And thank the Ferrari gods for doing a black interior on a green chassis.
Good lawd I love green Ferraris on AMMO NYC
Been waiting for a new video 😊
That’s a lot of orange peel that I notice on the car. I keep looking at my VW Passat and think about how a car that expensive can’t have orange peel. But looking at this Ferrari have orange peel, makes it a little better to digest. Haha! Love your work!
Thank you for including machine speeds in the video!
Larry Kosilla, "The Detailing Savant" 👍💪
Disappointing to see that amount of defects on a new delivery. Quality control seems to have declined across the industry, but a 90s/00s Lexus or 80s Mercedes never would have had those type of paint defects from the factory.
I have a ‘19 Z06 and the leather is intoxicating!……makes me speed.
There is only one king Larry, and it ain't Larry King
Larry's finally got a 4K 📷 Praise the Lord!
What a good way to clean whitewalls to make them look white again 😁
This is my dream car, its just so elegant
Leaned so much. If I can ever afford one, I’m taking it to you direct from factory. Swirls out before first drive.
I think i know where did i hear this music at 2:05
Silver weel weights? Come on Ferrari....
The mask? 😂😂😂
Where do the chemicals go?
I think it's remarkable how all these pads and different products can make on a car's surface. I for one, don't understand half of what Larry is explaining but the result is always mindblowing.
Literally better than it left the factory. I’m a bit surprised to see that this has a start/stop function. You definitely want to be able to hear your Ferrari at all times 😅
U can turn it off tho
It’s a mandate for all new cars.
@@yuanhenry5132 it turns back on on every motor start though, you gotta disable it everytime (or code it out)
@@AramcoPhil I think that depends on your region. My US spec 3 series will have it off automatically. In Europe and some other regions it’s on automatically.
@@AndrewC89 oh, didn't know that.. Cars in the EU have to have to be "in the condition where they passed their emissions test" (which is usually with S&S enabled in order to pass) on each start of the engine, so it re-enables every time
I watch these and my mind continuously defaults to, "Guy builds his own business, provides GREAT service, and crushes it." SO cool, Larry.
I can’t help but laugh, your enthusiasm for detailing is exciting and genuine, it really is infectious. I’ll be 72 1st of next month and have been detailing professionally almost 4 years now. Who would have thought chasing dirt would be fun and PROFITABLE, in my retirement. Love your work and your products. Love your caring attitude for all the diversity in cars and finishes.
hey ammo addicts, its friday and wash time....
larry, ive been a long time viewer/subscriber and i was watching some classic episodes, which got me thinking. with new subscribers everyday, hell even long time subscribes may not know but i think it would be interesting to make a History of Ammo video. how it started, the thought proccess behind it, etc...
Hey Larry, love your content i actually work next to a detailer and get to see some cool cars, wish you worked next to me!
Awesome work. This is great for a detailers business, but for $218,000 to start, that car needs to be perfect when it’s delivered.
I don’t know what the price threshold is, but $200K is definitely in it.
yeah man, for this price they should hire detailers to deliver the car 100% perfect.
I think it is more like “any limited number car” whatever the price tag is, should be signed and detailed before deliver to the buyer. This Ferrari I don’t k is if it is numbered, but still it should be perfect.
any car after six figures I want it to be perfect and give me some gawk-gawk 3000 every time I get in.
edit: luckily my expectations can't be disappointed as I have yet to be there.
Nah…… they (dealers) probably figure that if you have that kind of money to drop on a car……you can afford to turn the page and get it detailed. Really, what rich/wealthy person is concerned about “pig tails” and “swirl marks”? A detailers fee is probably chump change to them. Just make sure it’s waxed up at pick up so nothing stands out.
These kind of finish from the factory is perfectly fine for a sueprcar. In normal light you cant see anything. And if you watch your car with a flashlight.....you are mad.
Absolutely stunning color. One of the best looking modern cars I’ve ever seen.
FANTASTIC. I`m always awaiting for new epsodes.
Another sharp looking car!
I got a client a couple months ago who brought in a Roma in this exact BRG spec but with a brown interior and the paint was in the same shape. Wash damage, love marks from taking delivery, etc. It doesn't help that the Ferrari paint is quite soft, but man it was a blast working on a British Racing Green Ferrari! Great video as always Larry!
A ritual on Saturday morning, coffee and ammo on RUclips 😍👍
You're literally the Linus tech tips of the detailing world. 🌎 Look like him and sound like him. Keep up the good content! Because of you I got into polishing as a hobby and detailing.
Can you share how much one of your full custom details cost? A range of costs? I am assuming this is not cheap given the incredible amount of work you do. The cars look awesome when you are finished. I’m very impressed!
I've always thought that color was hideous until I saw what it's supposed to look like. Absolutely gorgeous color!
I have question when using a smaller diameter polisher when compounding and polishing. Does the small diameter pads generate heat faster than a larger diameter pad? And in your experience do smaller diameter pads cut more or faster at say a speed of 4-5 compared to a larger 5 or 6in diameter pad going the same speed? Thank you
I'm so glad you finally uploaded a video! I've been having AMMO NYC withdrawals since it's been 2 weeks since your last upload haha. I'm going to buy my first product from you tomorrow, ammo lather, super excited for it (:
Appreciate the support!
I love this car and your video is transfixing to watch.
Imagine the keyboard detailers on here trying to tell Larry Freaking Kosilla how to wash a vehicle. 😂
For real
Man, the body is already understanded, but that paint color is boring AF.
Hey Larry. Quick question. You cover the wheels to make cleaning them easier. Could you theoretically apply the same product to the exhaust tips to make cleaning them easier as well ?
Absolutely. You just need a higher temp rated ceramic coating. I have used Cquartz 3.0 on the tips and it works great
In my personal opinion, the Roma is one of the best looking modern day Ferraris on the market. Such a sleek and clean design. Love it.
Great video, Larry!
Just finished washing my car in the apartment garage thanks to the AMMO hose-less wash system. Such a good result.
Imagine buying a $200k+ car just to not drive it for 6 months… some people 🤣
Larry, are you not an advocate of taping off everything when polishing? I see other detailers spend so much time and effort in this area and wondering is it worth it?
Larry, what has been your favourite detail to date? I’m guessing it’s one of the most challenging ones based on your abilities to restore.
your vids are amazing!!!
Only 2M subscribers!! Why???.....u should have 20M atleast❤❤....love from India ❤❤....
This video looks amazing! the fact that it's a 4K adds a lot!
I saw some comparisons of foaming before, or foaming after an initial rinse.. Every test foaming w/o pre-rinsing worked better. I guess the foam had more to latch onto if you don't rinse first, and the water on the car makes the foam just run off instead of sticking to the car....
That factory paint is why I'd never own a Ferrari. That makes Tesla's paint look like a masterpiece It was horrifying for a new car. NOPE - total fail by Ferrari there.
Very nice, greetings from indonesia
Larry is such a pro he is ruining other car detail vids for me.
Not sure how I feel about that color on a Ferrari. Also, shouldn't a Ferrari have Pirelli rubber instead of French 'shoes?' With that said, thanks for another great video.
They left a sticky glue type thing on the windshield at the factory? What dealer would send out a 300k super car to a buyer with marred paint and crud on he windshield?
Beautiful car and color. I would be afraid of driving it while clean though….I would do the drive test when the car is still dirty. Just me.
Definitely a excellent detail wash, and thanks for sharing it with us 👍😎👊
Love the channel! Love your work! Just can't help wondering; why clean en polish the car first and then do the testdrive? You have to clean it again after the drive right? Isn't it less time consuming to do it the other way around? Or is it just the montage order of the video?
British racing green is a fantastic color, don’t see it much but it looks wet when polished at this level of quality
Love the content and products Larry. Thanks for inspiring me to one day open my own detailing business. I'm a huge fan and glad you share these awesome videos!!
I'm always curious to see the logistics side of things, how many micro fiber towels, bottles of polish, etc do you go through on a weekly basis?
It's a lot of items, not to mention man hours. These things are very tedious. They won't say all the finer details. The video is there to make a sale (i.e. views and likes = $).
@@ArseneLupin786 so what? there's literally plenty of details if you look in the other videos. There's nothing unknown about any polishing that he does
search for the shop tour that he did a while back
Literally talking with my other half about getting one as a Grand tour vehicle last month
Any car in British racing green is beautiful.
Love the before and after pics. Great video!
Car looks great, Larry! I still think every Ferrari needs to be red lol.
Great video. Such a beautiful Ferrari, especially the key 🔑😄
I always laugh that he waits until the car is absolutely perfect for the drive :) Seems like it might be easier to drive it first !
I’m sure he didn’t go too far lol
That feeling you get when you go in a car you love is a time machine and that feeling is all that matters
Wish i could get you to do my Tahoe.... i bet you'd make it look better than new
That is the most beautiful car I’ve never knew existed! Good job is always Larry!
I like you wear protective gear other retailers normally don’t show this
I would never want the smell of my Ferrari leather to go away. Great video.
Lmao, love that you guys blurred out the speedometer during the drive.
Nice
Such a classic beauty. You made it look timeless Larry as always !
Thank you Alan!
@@AMMO-NYC You are most welcome Larry.
notification squad, Have a nice weekend!🔥🔥🔥
It's mind boggling how much I learned from you, Larry. Every time I wash cars, I always remember your advice and tips. This helps me to enjoy the process even more! Thank you!
Love that car companies are coming back with that sweet green color paint
Another great vid, thanks Larry. It's really interesting to see how you prep an essentially brand new car for delivery. Great to see you driving it too, kudos to the owner for letting us (and you!) experience that.
Thx for watching!
love your work Larry!
Larry, Your videos have been leaving a smile on my face. I love seeing the passion. Keep up the good work and Ill keep on dropping many hundreds on detailing products.
Thanks for the support John!
Nice color on that Ferrari, and nice job cleaning it up.
The fact that they cant even put protective plastic over the paint really show their true standards "trash" its Lambo for me
That C5 Z06 in the background though...
Very cool
The Roma is so pretty.
When I was really into racing and cars I always loved to wash and detail my car and then take it for a good ride, my buddy always called it "getting some RT" or Ride Time..🤘😁.
What a beautiful colour
I was very fortunate to have tracked a Roma a couple of weeks ago and I was kind of shocked it was wearing Pilot Sport 4S’s. With over 600 hundred HP they definitely seemed to struggle.
I didn’t even know this model existed, and I consider myself a car guy! Not sure how I missed this one
Always doing a great job Larry! I like the 4K quality now. Superb.
It’s a sexy car for sure! 😁
You should of seen my face when I was cleaning the rear window inside of these, oh God, that was a decent painful struggle, as it’s sooooo tight inside in the rear!!! 😂
That’s a proper job only for people under 5 feet or kids. 😊
Agreed that back window was pain!
Really love the new editing style and music choice. Very aestheticy. Nice job guys.
Beautiful work on a beautiful machine, Larry!
Probably one of the more rare colors of a Ferrari but beautiful in the green none the less, especially with the yellow accents inside and on the brake calipers. A sophisticated color combination. Some of the colors on the Roma aren't flattering, especially on the front end. That green looks perfect on this car. Absolutely stunning job Larry.
I need a Roma and a shop like yours🤤🤤
We usually dress the piss out of the interiors at the shop I work in, but I have started to pull back on it... My take on detailing is that I want to restore the car to as close to like new as I can, not make the interior artificially darker or shiny or whatever, so now, if the interior already looks new, I save the time and leave it the way it is
Beautiful car
I think it’s disgusting that a car that expensive leaves the factory like that. For that money I’d hope they’d let it sit and gas out before it was sent out, instead of leaving it to the customer to have it fixed, especially if Ferrari paint is that soft.
Paint still has swirls even after he polished as well. Needs a full paint correction or just repaint really.
@@stuartstogdill2406 it appears most of the build quality on these “super” cars leaves a lot to be desired.
