Our Kurtzwell works great for about a minute or two then shuts completely off. Turning off the power and back on again and it works again for a minute or so. The dealer is only interested in selling a new piano. Have you heard of this malfunction and if so can it be an easy fix?
Great job of walking through it! It will be very helpful! disassembling. Our problem is with the action not rebounding properly on 5 keys. 2 of those keys make loud knocking. Felts? Anyone have knowledge as to what to expect?
As a retired keyboard technician, I can say you are far better off to just replace all of those rubber contacts. If you don't you can run into problems like keys double striking or keys not having their touch sensitivity working correctly.

What can I check for on a Kurzweil Cup 2 that doesn't switch on? It might be something small or big we aren't sure.
did you instal the small screws on the rear side of the keyboard that you took out ?

Curious, have you or anyone else fixed the pedals on this piano? I got a kerzwell mark 150 baby grand and the pedals are functioning properly
