Brother, thank you. You helped me fix my keyboard in within two minutes of this video. Took me less than fifteen to fix my problem.
Glad it helped
@@MusicOnlineUK lost a couple of screws in the process though, but worth! Ypt-410 still running strong
What a nice DIY project! Many thanks for sharing, it's interesting to see the interior of an e-piano and the problem-solving story. Great it's fully functional for classes too ☺
Thanks for this, I have had 2 keys intermittently doing this for a while and this appears to have fixed the problem!
Good to hear.
THANK YOU!
Well done. 🎉
🎉 Well done !
Thank you,very helpful!
Do you have the same problem?
Thank you! The exact help I needed
Glad it helped!
not just a useful video, but I loved also the quirky tune around 5:03, what was that?
I have a lot of black keys being extremely quiet or some loud with inconsistent loudness in an lp 180 i received, i guess I'll open it up and give it a clean!
Report back if it helps
I got used Yamaha pf 85 some keys when press once no sound I have to repress what is the fix
Can’t wait to fix the keyboard in my music room!
Any recommendations for a Casio Celviano AP620 doing the same thing? I've gotten the keys off and the area cleaned but still no change to that key's issue. Thanks in advance!
Did you try under the plastic pads that house the contacts
This video might save me a couple of hundred quid, which the Yamaha guy charges to fix this problem. Many thanks.
I have not glossy cleaner i m from Pakistan what i do
Have you ever fixed a note that just went dead? Could it be a similar dust problem?
Yes the same problem can make notes go dead
That's happening to me rn. I'll try to do this and let y'all know
My piano is now doing the same thing, with C#. I really want to fix it, but worried I'll either break it or wont be able to put it back together 🤔
It will be fine if you remember where all the screws came from. Turn power off before you start of course.
Now I'm gonna try doing this and update how it works! 😶🌫️😶🌫️😶🌫️😶🌫️ Fingers crossed! 🤞
Any updates
After i opened, the sound was back to normal before i even touched anything. So i just cleaned and screwed it back. This morning as i was playing, it occurred again. I don't know why! 😶🌫️
I does that on my Yamaha mx61, but I have to play a sequence of 2 notes on after the other one….at a few places. weird
It does the same on mine, glad to see im not the only one with that specific issue
@@davidsantiagorassagutierre7527 I fixed it, I must have pressed something in the menu, so just reset the synth to then original factory settings , check on google
IS there a way to fix the keys from making a loud clicking sound ,everytime i play i can hear the clicking more than the piano
Try adding some vaseline to the mechanism
@@MusicOnlineUK all right, thank you very much
