Toyota Tacoma Hood Release Fix Easy Fix No Money Needed

Great video, unfortunately this did not work for me, locking mechanism still refuses to lock.
Edit: watched it again, and fiddled with that lever mechanism thing attached to the spring a bit and then it worked!

Thanks! I didn't move the spring but I bent the piece of metal the spring was attached to and accomplished the same result... I'm sure time will move it back but the hood stays shut again
