Just found your channel. Don't feel so bad about missing out on something. I'm a reseller/collector. I was at an estate sale and looked at the silver tableware they had. Some of it was sterling if you know what to look for. I picked up a tea pot and tea kettle and flipped them over. They had some sort of makers name but it didn't tell me anything about them being silver. I should have put them in my bag and kept walking around but I put them back. 15 mins later a guy I know bought them and I asked him about them. He said they were sterling and the hallmarks were on the side near the handles. He only paid $50 and will probably profit $1,400. It sucks but fortunately the weeks after that I was still finding really good stuff especially more sterling which was odd but theres always other deals out there. We probably make mistakes at sales that we never even catch. We just have to move on and hopefully learn from it and try not to make the same mistake twice. Happy hunting!

Thanks for the kind words. At least I know now what to change next time. That’s the benefit of having it on video. I can learn from mistakes.
