If you mentioned it and I missed it I apologize in advanced. Getting the power steering pump replaced will get the whining in check. The right rental tool will help you get the pulley off . If your pulley is chipped or cracked anywhere I would go ahead and replace. I would check your serpentine belt for dry rot while you have it off (should be a 1/4 drive on your serpentine pulley to remove the belt. Depending on your mileage (normally at 75,000) it’s a good idea to change your transmission fluid filter. Your trans pan sits just behind your oil pan (normally between the stock catalytic converters) takes Mercon V trans fluid . Just a freebie , if your trans ever starts to leak, before assuming anything like a seal, go and check the bottom of your transmission dipstick. Good luck with your ride and keep the channel updated!!
Hi Roland, i’m glad you have an appreciation for the SN-95/New Edge generation of mustangs. I’m very please that you’ve enjoyed my Review of this example! I’m extremely thankful for your comment and support, I hope you’ll enjoy the many videos I have to come!!!!
Yeah the GT of this year 4.6L Sure the engine is crowded but yeah they run forever!!! Great cars but in a way im looking to see if the V6 Is just as reliable? Yup im looking at one right now
It is a relatively unladen engine when all things are considered.it’s a low revving pushrod V6. it makes adequate Power to propel the vehicle. You shouldn’t have very many problems as long as you change the oil water pump belt drive accessories so on and so forth. These 3.8s don’t have VVT or VVL. However at 177k miles, it would be wise to exercise caution when purchasing one of these vehicles. I hope you find what your looking for!
You must not be much of a Mustang enthusiasts because that's not a completely new platform from the fox body platform it's actually only just a bigger version of the fox body platform but the same none the less the original plan was for the Ford Probe to be the new Mustang but there was so much fan backlash they pretty much botched together a bigger version of the fox body Mustang with different styling but it's the same platform just slightly bigger second that car is nice and everything but it's nothing special I see several examples that are just as nice and nicer I actually have 2 in equally nice shape
Actually, this is the SN 95 mustang the fourth generation of the mustang in which it was introduced for the 1994 model year, for the 1994 they came out with a few all new engines. To name a few the 3.8 liter pushrod v6 as well as fords first introduction of a single overhead cam 2 valve per cylinder V8 which we all know as the Ford 4.6 modular. This generation has nothing in relation to the fox body. Also I have to say this is actually my favorite variation of the mustang because of its modestly styled body as well as introduction of new engines And something that hits right just for me is the fact that it’s clinging on the edge of old school and modern.I had an excellent time driving it I must say. Thank you for taking the time to comment and watch my videos I truly appreciate it!

V6 manual had mine for 2 years
my 99 has over 360,000kms.
Was going to get a 2000 Mustang v6. Not quite sure how I felt at first, considering it's at 177k miles, how long do you think these would run?

Question what gas should I put on my v6 same year like is the plus better for response and a bit faster or? Same with regular
@@mattsk8s543 Mostly I use regular, but every 1500 miles I add a fuel system cleaner..If you have the extra$$ use SUPREME..
@@mattsk8s543regular, won't make any difference on a stock non tuned car or mild bolt on car besides draining your wallet
