For any one completely green one thing u may have not noticed the position of the rear trucks,the center bolt with your truck bushing is important to be right above the coping or just invtowards the bowl when make the kick turn your board is balanced on the coping it will help u drop back in cleaner,what tony when stop his front trucks are on the deck and his back truck are on the coping dead on balls accurate,I'm sorry right in the teter tatter ,I watch kids do this a lot and so few people do it cleanly and it really looks dorky when they don't slow down their upper body and go to far over coping...it so rad when some body shows off their controll skills with this trick it don't look like much but when somebody's rippin and they put this dead stop stall in their routine it really says something.piece out.thanks for nice teaching demonstration.
Hey when you go up the ramp do you keep perpendicular to the ramp or do you try and keep perpendicular to the ground?
Is it me or is it satisfying whenever you land with your truck all the way and you just slide the trucks back into safe position

I dislocated my elbow doing these my bolt or screw on my truck I guess stuck out enough for me to get hooked coming in and I fel straight Down into my elbow wearing pads aswell stick popped my elbow straight inwards and outa the socket it was like 12 ft fall straight on my arm :( I turned around and my board was still on the coping hanging down from the coping by the back wheels.......... Never rode my mini ramp again..... Took forever to move my arm again like year and a half and then I finally healed and my ramp got destroyed due to not using and maintaining it........

if you get stuck not being able to do it, try giving it a rest for a few days and then trying it again. i got stuck not being able to do it, then stopped for 3 days, and it was easier after that
Thats how you learn man lol ive took some hard ass slams in 14 years, believe me...But thats part of the game of skateboarding mangggg, live and learn.
Yeah I used to drop in from this position and after years of sleeping thru life I just get reacquainted with concrete we just didn't have ,and this has been Bob Hawk and Colin McKay for ABCs wide world of sports,yes know different didn't u use to do college football commentating

this video was made in 2002. Skate shoes were super high tech. They aren't running shoes. I actually still have a pair of Hawk Shoes today. Much better than the thin ass stupid shoes like Supra today. Skateboarding just isn't what it used to be :/

They are fuckin skate shoes this is from 2000 or 2001 they skate better than a lot of the generic copycat shoes today
i agree we skated in converse and vans in the 80s , 90s and early 2000 the shoes were good, now were back to the gym shoes of the 80s

a 50 50 is where both trucks are sliding on the coping,not just stalling it then dropping in you grind the coping..
