Brett Julian, this is your channel don't forget. We miss you. Upload whatever you like...metal detecting, drone footage....we want you back. Update on what happened at the Asylum Seeker's hotel?
I have never done that what I have done is put fuel in the car an put cash on their couter minus the VAT they get upset call the police the police tell them what I tell them its a civil matter and they cannot get involved. They then refuse the cash payment so I pick it back up say goodbye and don't hear anymore about it. I don't pay council tax either.
Atleast she had a little giggle at the situation I don’t think these peoples are properly trained to handle these situations and you can’t really predict how they should react but aslong as they in the end learn something new.
I love how after being told it's "legal tender" they ask some ignorant twonk and take the word of the ignorant twonk over the law of the land. We only have to look at history to see how readily people follow the orders of their superiors over the law. And what that can lead to.
Now here's a question..? Get your car fixed brakes/oil change/full service would this work even M.O.T..? it's been done so it's a debt, if not shouldn't these places ask to be paid 1st and then carry out their own practices once being paid for nothing to start...lol
Nah, that horse has bolted. That rabbit is out the hat. The Royal Mint did a little money-grab by producing these coins that they declared as Legal Tender. There's now enough of them out there being sold on ebay etc that videos like this could be made for years.
I can tell you feel proud of yourself for this but you shouldn't. In reality all you are doing is antagonising (and borderline bullying) the people behind the counter who probably have real problems in their lives without you making it harder. You could just pay by card or with cash but you are choosing to make it difficult for your own amusement. I'm sure you could spend your time doing something better.

just because it's legal tender doesn't mean the businesses have to accept it. It's the same when businesses only accept cards for example. or even when English companies don't want to take Scottish or Irish notes. The legal tender rule you on about only applies to government establishments.
Did you see a sign to stipulate £100 coin were not accepted payment of debt ? . you must inform folk officially by putting up a sign ,not just blab somthing and expect the public to take your word for it . who are you anyways ?.

There are 'legal tender' £100 coins, but these are commemorative or bullion coins only, and are not considered circulating currency. In the UK, a one hundred pound coin will likely be made of gold, silver or platinum.

If they refuse to accept legal tender as remedy, doesn't that cancel the debt? couldn't he leave with his rejected coin and owe them nothing?
Yes
No that's theft then with offering 100£ he paid you can pay in 1 pence peaces

The coins are sold as legal tender and they should be used as such.
Unfortunately they usually have to be spent to pay a debt like at a petrol station
