My beloved X-MEN.. if only the whole world were a bit more aware of their INFINITE POTENTIAL for perfect story telling also got to love that Stan lee style of intro haha may his soul live forever as X-men shall live always
Great work! A few recommendations: Daredevil: Born Again; Elektra: Assassin; Green Arrow: The Longbow Hunters; and Howard Chaykin's original run on The Shadow and Blackhawk!
+James Bachmann We'll be taking up every comic and graphic novel we love and the fans love. Maybe including ones that Graphic Audio has done too. It's all about fun
Oh shit, I didn't read the description! I could tell it wasn't professional, top-notch work, but I thought that was just because it was old! Great job.
Illyana grew into MAGIK, whom happens to be my absolute most favorite comics character ever. I'm 47 now... But when I read her origin story, then into the "Illyana & Storm" 4 part series, bookended by uncanny X-Men #160 and others after it... When I rode my bmx bike down off the mountain and into town, on a secret mission to the Bagelsmith to get my cream cheese on a onion bagel, grab my APPLE SLICE sode (I don't drink soda anymore... But Apple Slice only existed for 1, mayyyyyybe 2 fleeting summers, hardly anyone says they know if it when I ask if anyone outside of my crew I grew with had encountered this grand soda flavor... Only a small handful of people have answered me with a yes when I ask, and I've never met anyone that didn't LOVE apple slice lol... Anyway ... With food/drink in hand I would GT BMX my way to a place called "SLN NEWS" store... A legit source of issues if the newspaper, a whole wall of magazines, and even had things like a cigar room lol... I would go through the comics on the slippery racks after grabbing my BMX mags of the wall shelves... X-Men, New Mutants, Fantastic Four, Batman, New Warriors, amazing AND spectacular Spider-Man, Tales from the Crypt, Daredevil and others were the monthlies or bi-monthlies I would grab as they released each visit, bought it all with my lawn mowing, chores money for that week, then we would BMX ride back to the front side of the hill that began the trek up our mountain, we would always pull down a path by the railroad tracks, start a small campfire, either pitch a tent, or like most of us would do, hang up our hammocks from tree to tree... We had our bagels n apple slice, kick back in my hammock, eat away and stare wide eyed at my comics, always X-Men first. that #160 blew my mind, same with the following "Illyana & Storm" arc... Never read anything like it. It broadened what I thought could happen in comics. What I thought could happen to our iconic Characters. Comic writing and sequential art started to form stories for the more deeper minds, more sophisticated readers, mixed with the already established comic book style storytelling. That uncanny X-Men #160 had me stunned, slowly reading every panel, with hope to make it last longer. I was hooked on this deeper style and character development. illyana Rasputin aka MAGIK, Colossus's baby sister, aged 7 years overnight while trapped in purgatory. Which sounds out her whole outlook on life. Grew more sarcastic and bleak in minutes. We saw a future version of famed X-Men characters that turned out to be horrible shells of themselves. It was a new vibe for comics. And I was hooked forever . MAGIK MY FAVORITE TILL THIS DAY.
We had a lot of wonderfully talented actresses looking to get involved with this production, so we did a little gender swap and had it be his sister, Sunpyre 🔥
The "#1" in the title may be misleading. This is our only X-Men project so far. It's called Giant Size X-Men #1 because that's the (amazing) issue that resurrected the franchise after a long period with no comics featuring the Professor and company. Like how if we adapted the first Superman story it'd be called "Action Comics #1." Not a bad idea actually...
+TheScorpy21 We'll definitely revisit the X Men in the future. As for pictures, we are thinking about doing motion comics over the audio, but are primary stuff is always going to be listening-based
Marquis Mason Nope, you're right! It's Sunfire in the original comic, but since we had so many wonderful actresses interested in this one, we thought it'd be fun to use his sister, Sunpyre
The first series was good. The sound on this one is GARBAGE. And When Professor X uses his telepathy they deafen us with high frequency feed back ringing as a sound effect??? Fuuuuck.. Why!?
My beloved X-MEN..
if only the whole world were a bit more aware of their INFINITE POTENTIAL for perfect story telling
also got to love that Stan lee style of intro haha
may his soul live forever as X-men shall live always
nice one guys. this is well done. thanks for putting this together
+euan shanks For fans, by fans!
Great work! A few recommendations: Daredevil: Born Again; Elektra: Assassin; Green Arrow: The Longbow Hunters; and Howard Chaykin's original run on The Shadow and Blackhawk!
Warren Davis all great choices! We have so many comics we want to do, we'll be in this game for a loooooong time haha
Well done, folks. As good as the Power Record adaptations from the 70s.
High praise! Thanks so much!
Do More of those and try to find them all OK please if not, try your best I promise .
Very good. Just wish a company like Graphic Audio would have produced this story. Thanks for taking it up yourselves.

Stan, I wish I could meet you but I hope your legacy lives on.
Much love my dearest X-men
Much love sir Stan lee
Well done!
Wow! Great stuff, more, more, more! The tribal chanting around Storm sounds awfully familiar .... from the classic film Zulu perhaps? 😉🖒
It sure is! You've got a great ear!
Great job!!! Loved it.
this is great. didn't know comic audio book was a thing!!!!!!!!!👍
+James Brown Stay tuned for more!
If you're still using this YT account, you can find plenty of _seriously_ kick-ass stuff on Graphic Audio.
I thought sunfire was a man and his name was shiro yoshida and he quit after the first mission
We had a lot of wonderfully talented actresses looking to get involved with this production, so we did a little gender swap and had it be his sister, Sunpyre 🔥
Great voice actors 👏
Good work... but why is Sunfire a female?!?
I think somebody should make an animated version
Hailey Shannon that would be awesome! This was the start of some of the best comics in X history
Cape Swoosh Productions Excellent work. Please keep it going.
more?>
Great job, just a suggestion, but it would be cool if you did Kravens last Hunt....
+Bill Montgomery Our resident Spidey fan has been pushing that one for a while haha. It's definitely on our list
It would be awesome, and there is only really 3 main characters -Spidey, Vermin, and of course Kraven....anyways, keep up the great work!
This was awesome i hope you guys do avengers arena
Banshee's accent is unforgivable. I want my money back. Oh wait...
+John Stephen Dwyer lmao touche
I loved this! did the others get taken down?

Thunderbird sounds like Star Lord.
Since when is S unfired a woman?
So....... are you guys gonna do the next one? also... you could also maybe use the pics of the comics?
+TheScorpy21 We'll definitely revisit the X Men in the future. As for pictures, we are thinking about doing motion comics over the audio, but are primary stuff is always going to be listening-based
So cool 😎
Did I miss something? They gender switched Sunfire? Perhaps I need to catch up on my reading. ..
Marquis Mason Nope, you're right! It's Sunfire in the original comic, but since we had so many wonderful actresses interested in this one, we thought it'd be fun to use his sister, Sunpyre
Oh ok, then. Good choice!
Marquis Mason I just found this and had the same thought. Thank you for having it cleared up for me to.
Did Stan Lee naterate this audio comic?
We wish! That's voice actor Mike Sangregorio doing his impression of Stan the Man
Thanks for the information.
Wolverine sounds like Seth Green.
LMAO we're going to text him this immediately :D
20XX I need a comic boost
The African singing was from the Zulu movie right?
Wow, great catch! Yeah, we really loved the music in that movie, and thought it'd be cool to include it
why is sunfire voiced by a chick?
Why is Sunpyre a woman?
The first series was good. The sound on this one is GARBAGE. And When Professor X uses his telepathy they deafen us with high frequency feed back ringing as a sound effect??? Fuuuuck.. Why!?
The culmination of a years long plot to drive you insane 😈
Marvel before it was taken over by the woke brigade!
We are categorically disinterested in this worldview.
Overacted as usual, like most audio book dramas....
arnebarnard haha yeah, we had a blast hamming it up. Pretty hard not to overact a 70s X-Men script-- or any X-men script, for that matter...
